I'm on my way listening to the presidential speech in illinos.
"I have been diagnosed eith a malignant form of cancer." She says
"Hello?" My phone rings
"Hey were are you?" Michael asks
"I'm still driving I just heard about the president what'd going on?"
"Listen. We're on the boat it leaves in 10. The pardon isn't happening. We gotta leave. How far away are you?"
"5 minutes." I say
"I know this isn't what you wanted in life. But there's another ticket if you want it?" He says
"I'm there. But Michael. Don't think this is me saying anything other than I need out of here" I say
"I do."
We say bye and I've realised I'm being tailed.
I turn and they follow. Michael calls me again
"Where are you the boats leaving"
"I was being followed Michael. I'm already on board. Sorry I must've past you. Where are yiu?" I ask
"The deck"
"I'm on my way up." I say
"Okay" I hung up on him.
I took a deep breath and went outside the car.
"Son of a bitch where is he?" Mahone says
"I don't know."
"Lies. Prison or tell"
"I just wanted a donut sir." I say
"You ditched a federal agent because you wanted a donut."
"No I ditched a federal agent because I was threatened for my life." I say
"Lock her up!"
