It was 9am and Jual was cooking breakfast. She could barely think straight. Today would be the first time she went and visited Kema since the accident and honestly she was beyond excited but felt guilty as well. Even though she knew she was in a depressive state she still felt like a bad friend for not checking on her while she was in the hospital.

Once she finished making her breakfast sandwich she sat on the couch and turned on Lemonade Mouth, she loved Disney musicals. Pulling her laptop into her lap she began typing her bosses schedule for work, she had a full work week ahead considering he'd be hosting seminars for multiple other companies that were flying in and she wanted to prepare. She was almost done with Wednesday's schedule before her phone began to ring.

"What" she answered. "Damn that's how you answer the phone bitch" Kei'Lani laughed. "You always call when I'm doing something, I'm starting to think you got cameras in my apartment." She stated "I do but that's not the point, anyways what time we going to the hospital?"

"Im working right now so what about like 3?" Jual said procrastinating

"I gotta go see  a man about a horse at 4 that won't work" she laughed "what about 12?"

"Bitch I almost forgot, spill!" Jual yelled

"Imma tell you when I see you, I wanna see your facial expressions "

"Bitchhhhhh, I know you didn't"

"Just get dressed and meet me at the hospital , bring your detangler, I ran out and i know my girl hair ain't been brushed in a couple days"

An hour later Jual was dressed and ready to go. Grabbing her keys Jual hopped in her car and headed towards the interstate. Jual was no longer nervous, she was just excited that she could finally see her friend. Kema's phone was destroyed during the wreck so Jual got her another one. She cruised down the interstate singing along to Promise by Jagged Edge.

"Said I know that things just ain't been right. Forevers such a very long time, We never even had a fight. Don't let no one change your mind.

'Cause they don't know how much I care, they don't know the things we share unless they're here babe, but since they're not. How can they say that in not true ooohhh"

If you need love, I got the love that you need. Ain't no way that they can take that from me. And I pray to God that one day they will see. they'll see that I'm all that you need oooohhhh

"Nothing is promised to me and you, So why will we let this thing go. Baby I promise, that I'll stay true. Don't let nobody say it ain't so, baby I promise that I will never leave and everything will be alright, I promise these things to you, girl just believe, I promise." She sang loudly.

"Thank god my windows tinted" she laughed pulling into the hospital.

After looking for a parking spot for five minutes she grabbed the hair products and headed towards the lobby. After getting on the elevator she read the text from Kei'Lani telling her what floor and room. Walking into the room she saw Kema in the hospital bed asleep and Kei'Lani sitting in the chair watching Law and Order: SVU.

"Dang, I thought she'd be up at this time." She whispered

"She took her pain meds this morning, they always make her drowsy, she'll be up before we leave though" Kei'Lani said

"She looks good" Jual said looking at Kema. It was true, besides a few healing bruises that were still visible due to her skin tone and a sling on her arm she looked fine.
