The Sudrian Zombie Outbreak (UNDER REWRITE)

April 15th, 2022

Log 1

While I was waking up during the sunrise, Felix and Colin were at work firing up James. We had plans to look for more survivors today, but if there was anyone I wanted to be alive on this Island, it was Thomas. But my mind says we may not find him.

Log 2

We arrived at Tidmouth Hault and there was no one there, only the remains of trucks and mail vans. But while we looked into the offices, we found someone, Keith Wickham. He was going to a nearby store when the infection broke out, he raced to the area and help some survivors, but zombies overran the platform and he ran into the office, he grabbed a nearby gun and shot those bastards' heads off. He saw that we only had one coach, and I told him about the other two. He was surprised a 13-year-old was a survivor, yet to be honest I have no idea why I lived, I guess I was lucky. Keith got in the coach and we went down the line.

Log 3

We reached Arlesburgh but it was a complete mess, metal equipment, and blood were everywhere, Felix and Colin didn't even want to step on that platform. I decided to go in and see if there was anything useful, there was not really much inside the station building, just food, guns, and a stash of scared chickens. I brought the equipment back on and I took the chickens to a nearby workmen's hut with food that will probably stockpile them for a while. We went down the line and found a dead Annie and Clarabel at Callan, they'd been bitten and smashed by those freaks, their eyes were bleeding, and Annie even had one of her eyes with a pipe in her! We decided to head down the Callan Castle Loop to see if there was anyone there, as we made it to a nearby lake we found the engine that was too familiar, he had six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler, and a short stumpy dome.

Log 4

It was at this moment we found Thomas. But his one was missing, it was like it was painted over, he wanted us if could help him, we pulled him out of the water and back onto the tracks. We told him how on earth he got there in the first place. He was apparently at Ffarquhar when this happened, while he was waiting for Bertie to arrive, he saw a crowd of zombies racing towards him, he sped down the line passing Bertie, who had his crowd of freaks. When he got to Elsbridge, he went to the shed and screeched to a stop. He saw James coming with my train with the class in it, and saw the horrors as the coupling broke, and getting eaten and killed by our horde and his, he didn't even watch. After they ran off, Thomas ran back down the line, to try to get to Tidmouth, but then he saw that zombies were already there killing Douglas, but when they saw him, Thomas's Driver threw the switch and they ran down the line, as he reached Callan he was going so quickly, he didn't even realize there was a bump in the tracks, and when he hit it, he got separated from Annie and Clarabel, he screeched his brakes, but he couldn't as there were new tracks on the rails, and they were slippery, he derailed off the line and splashed into the water, the zombies didn't find Thomas because they ate Annie and Clarabel instead. But when we said Annie and Clarabel, he raced back down the line to see his two beloved coaches were killed, Thomas cried for what felt like hours, and we comforted the engine until we heard the whistle of an Ivatt Tank Engine, which was when we heard Arthur.

Log 5

When he stopped, we saw he had five container vans, two normal ones, 3 coaches, and Henrietta. Arthur was glad to see us, but he was focused on something else. He was at Knapford Harbour when this happened, Neville was also there too, while he was looking for his goods train, he heard the sounds of people getting attacked by zombies, he and Neville ran out of the Harbour and onto the Main Line, they ran down the loop to get to a safer place, but while he made it to the Old Harbour Junction, Neville derailed on a set of points that were left unchecked. He ran back down the line as another hoard was heading in the other direction. He arrived back where he started and went into a nearby building, the zombies lost track of him so they ran off. While he was going down the Tidmouth line, he saw Douglas dead, but he saw Henrietta in the yards and he grabbed her and went down to find any survivors, he found some fishing cars with survivors in there, and after a tiny bit an explanation, they joined Arthur's group. He had at least 67 survivors, but he lost 45 yesterday, he lost them as he decided to go down the line to Peel Godred, as he got to the station, he found Arry and Bert crashed into trucks and coaches, he saw Henry at the entrance of the Iron Works, he quickly ran to him to say he was glad he was alright. But he saw he was sad, after a silent few seconds Arthur got scared by Diesel 10, as he yelled for him to run, but while Arthur was saying it was just Henry, his driver saw a tentacle come out of his funnel, that's when they realized their mistake. Henry swallowed his face, and tentacles grew out of his wheels. He screamed for life as he raced out of the entrance of the smelters. Diesel 10 also raced out, but he almost died as he got stuck into some jammed points, but then Diesel ran into the yards with trucks in front of him, and crashed them into the beast, giving him enough time for him and D10 to escape. James asked where he was, he told him Diesel 10 was at his base at Lower Suddery, he decided to stick with us until we get back. While we were still here, we decided to give James a bit more protection by giving him a shield to protect him, and after that, we went back down the line to Elsbridge.

Log 6

When we got back, Thomas reset for a while and Toby reunited with Henrietta. James was fitted with the guns I found at Arlesburgh around this time, are only limit though is ammo. I also forgot today is the 15th, we were supposed to return today, but since there are no planes, I guess I'm gonna be here for a bit longer than I thought, I do think my parents are going to get worried, even my sisters, grandparents, aunts, you get the point. I just hope they think I'm not dead. That would be terrible!

Log 7

Around 5 or so we heard a noise coming down the nearby junction box, I and Toby went to see what it was it was coming from the Els Bridge. We stopped to find the horrifying site of Percy, he was pretty much infected, his eyes were red, and there were lines of blood on his cheeks, he began running towards us at full speed. We raced back down the line to the shed and accidentally crashed into some coaches, but the points were changed before he could get to us. Well, I guess Percy is another one at the back of the book.

Log 8

While I was trying to get to sleep, I heard the engines screaming and a huge noise from outside nearby exploded my ears as I went out with others to see Henry was here to attack, Oliver raced out of the sheds, but the monster quickly caught Oliver and killed him by smashing on to the ground, resulting into him exploding, we thought in no time to get all the engines steamed up, and after Thomas was done, we raced down the line to get away from him. But the beast followed us as we went down Thomas's Branch and went down the several stations but he kept following us. But I then slipped out of James's cab and the beast was about to grab hold of me, until the horn of Daisy came into view, running down the line to get the attention of the beast to follow her, it worked and the beast chased her, as I quickly got back in Thomas, who stopped to see I was in danger. We then heard the screams of Daisy exploding in the distance. We quickly ran to Ffarquhar Quarry, and as soon as we got there, we stopped near the end of the buffers. We saw Bill and Ben alive in a siding near us, they were frightened and horrified by Henry they saw. James and Arthur tried to calm them down they calm down a bit but it didn't work, and then they soon fell asleep. We all sighed in relief and soon got some rest. I just want to stay up all night after what I saw. But I'll just try to sleep if I can right now, hopefully, I'll have a more distressful day tomorrow. Man, I need some exercise.
