Fuck. I notice bodies of 2 soldiers along the side of the dirt road, faces ripped up and tossed into the brush. The attack is obviously that of the raptors. The prehistoric footprints continue on down the track, alarmingly they appear alongside the tire marks of the truck Zach, Gray and Claire are in. At this realisation I rev my engine and speed along in a desperate attempt to catch up to them. There's no chance in hell that my raptors are gonna harm them, I won't let that happen.

I can see to red tail lights in the distance ahead of me. Thank god, it's them. Shit! following close behind them is Delta. Without me realising, what once was two sets of raptor tracks is now only one. No time to question it though, I HAVE to catch up with them.

As my bike catches up to the Van I whistle at Delta to get her attention, she starts to slow down ever so slightly and lose her pacing, and in doing so she becomes disoriented whilst trying to look at me behind her. This just about causes enough distraction for the boys to find the tasers on the wall. She turns back to them as they start to bang the rods around, accidentally prompting her to speed up again and attempt to reach them inside the van. The raptor jumps and attempts to clamber into the back with them. OH GOD. I don't know what to do. Their communication with the Indominus-Rex has led them to ignoring me and Owens commands. "USE IT!! BOTH OF YOU TASE HER" I practically scream at the boys. If the raptors can't be controlled then it's the only form of defence. Without hesitation they both do it. Delta flys backwards, almost hitting me and knocking me off my bike, I swerve out the way just in time. Zach starts cheering and high-fiving Gray. I'm shocked (but so relieved) that it actually worked. "THAT WAS AWESOME!" Zach yells at me out the back, and i can't help but smile back at him.

The distant grumbling of a second motor comes from behind me. I look in the mirror and it's Owen. "Thank fuck" I think to myself, both, in relief that he's still alive, and that he can help us. "OWEN!" "AH OWEN!" they both have the same joy to see him that I do. I stay steady behind them whilst my brother speeds up so he can pull up and talk to Claire. He guides us back to the main park and we pull through the gates. I follow them down the narrow roads until we reach the hub of the park. We slow to a halt and I hop off my bike. Zach bolts out of the truck straight over to me and embraces me so tight I nearly stopped breathing. "Shit (Y/N) I thought you were gonna die out there. You gotta be crazy!" he says. "If you don't stop squeezing me so tight i might die now" I just about manage to squeak out, and he loosens his grip and laughs slightly. We share a brief chuckle as i loosely rest my hands on his side too. I pull back and look at him and I'm just in awe of everything about him. I hear an awkward cough come from ahead as Owen tries to politely get our attention. "Hate to interrupt but we're kinda in a hurry, you know... not like it's life or death or anything guys" we both step away and turn our attention back to the situation at hand.

We follow behind the rest as we all run into the main park building. "Control room that way!" Claire points left and we follow the signs towards the laboratory. We all slow down as we round the corner and realise the place is empty, all the biologists gone. We share a look of confusion and defeat then continue on to explore what's been left behind. Reptile, amphibian, and fish tanks all abandoned. "A so called 'wildlife conservation' park that leaves animals abandoned to die." I sarcastically state. "this is messed up" Zach says softly whilst closely looking at the enclosures.

We all collectively turn at clanking and closing sounds to see InGen stripping the lab of valuable and confidential research. Hoskins briskly walks towards us with a smug look on his face. He explains to us that with Mr Masrani's death, InGen is now in charge of the whole operation, the park, and the guests. Gray points to the computer and states "That's not a real dinosaur" and hoskins replies suspiciously enthusiastically "No, it ain't kid" and goes on to explain that "but imagine what this could do for our company, a living weapon, a form of arms able to hide from even the most advanced military technology. Millions of years of evolution has let us learn that nature is-..." His ramble is cut off by a sharp growl and a raptor rapidly leaping towards him. He quickly lets out an "Oh Shit!" Everyone steps back as me and Owen shield with our arms from the front. I feel Zach's hand on my waist, ready to pull me back, but I stay in front of them. We watch as Delta moves towards Hoskins. "Easy boy" we hear him say as he tries to keep the raptor calm with his outstretched hand. I can't help but scoff, he doesn't even know or care that the raptors are girls. We can all see where this is going. Delta's jaw clamps down on his arm which causes him to let out a guttural cry.

Whilst the raptor is distracted we all make a run for it, Owen and Claire lead the way as me and the boys follow closely behind. We get into the main hallway to the centre of the laboratory and head left. Delta smashes through the glass in front of us. Zach instinctively grabs by arm and yanks me back the other way with him, the rest are just behind. As we run away and get to the hub I quickly press a button for the hologram display in the lobby, a projection of the dilophosaurus with open frills starts just in front of Delta. Buying us some more time to get away.

But as we burst through the main doors and close them behind us another two raptors come at us from the front. We all hesitate for a second before Delta catches up and busts through the door.

"shit shit shit"
Is all I can think. We're surrounded. All 3 remaining raptors circle us. I quickly step on one side of Claire and the boys, protectively standing in front of them, as Owen stands his ground on the other side of them. "So that's how it's gonna be then?" Owen asks the raptors rhetorically. He looks back over at me and gives me a nod whilst looking at my gun. I nod back, knowing exactly what we need to do. We both turn back to the raptors and drop our guns to the floor. They move so all three of them are on one side. I move to match their pattern and stand alongside my brother. We're now face to face with blue. She looks at us and we sense her calming. Owen reached his hand out towards her face slowly. He quietly repeats the phrase "easy" as he begins to unbuckle the head strap of her camera and lets it fall to the ground. She then turns to look at me and closes her eyes slowly before opening them again. Since they were babies this has always been a symbol of trust and bonding between me and the animals. The moment of there eyes being closed shows they trust me not to harm them and defend them. I do the same back to her to show my mutual respect towards her.

Owen puts his arm across me from the front and pulls me to step back as we hear the low growl and heavy footsteps of the Indominus Rex round the corner.

Sorry this took 4 years to come out, probably a noticeable change from previous chapters as far as the style. Hopefully it doesn't differ too much though haha. Just got random motivation from watching the film again. Also just a slightly boring bit of the film which is probs why i lost motivation in the first place
