Y/ns backstory

life wasn't really exciting, there was nothing fun about me.
I am an only child, my parents didn't really pay attention to me. that's why I would live with my grandma.

I was born and raised in California,

I was six when my parents started getting into arguments. there wasn't a day where they would get along or not argue.
When my dad found out my mom had an affair.
He went crazy, he threatened her and the one she had an affair with.

"Dime, era ese hijo de perra que viene los domingos, el que trabaja contigo. Es el?!" (Tell me, is it that son of a bitch that comes over every Sunday, the one from your job. Is it him!?") My dad shouted At her.
She looked at him dead in the eye.
"Esto no pasaría si no fuera por ti! Tal vez si fueras un buen esposo o buen padre para nuestro hija no pasaría esto!"(this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you, maybe if you were a good husband or a good father for our daughter this wouldn't happen!) she spit in his face.

I stood behind a chair slightly crying afraid by the yelling. I covered my ears and cried.
"Dime quien es! Lo mato junto a ti!"
(Tell me who it is! I'll kill him along with you!)
He said shouting at her.

Then a plate flew right next to me and shattered
Some glass cut through my skin and I cried out in pain. My parents were still yelling at me and throwing stuff al over. I started crying louder from the pain and still covering my ears.

"Ya Cállate! No te queremos ya eres un gasto!"(shut up already! We don't want you anymore your a waste!") my mother yelled in my face as my father rubbed his face in frustration.

I wasn't paying overwhelmed and couldn't breathe anymore from all that was going on.
I feel to the floor and my parents looked at me then didn't do anything. My aunt Sara ran into the house and yelled at my parents.

"Es una niña! A ella no la metan en tus problemas!"(she's a little girl! Don't bring her into your problems!) my aunt yelled at them.

My dad looked at her then at my mom.
"Váyanse a la chingada yo no quiero ver nada con ustedes!" He said getting his car keys then walking out of the house. My mom looked at us then.
"No quiero La Niña, quédatela." (I don't want the girl, keep her.") she said with disgust before also walking out.

My aunt carried me to my bed and confronted me.
"What did I do? W-why don't mom want me?" I asked crying.

My aunt hugged me and moved my hair out of my face. "Mi y/n, tu ya no te preocupes tu abuela y yo te cuidaremos, ya duérmete okey."(y/n, don't worry anyone your grandma and me will take care of you. Get some sleep already." ) she said. I nodded and quickly fell asleep, tired from crying and yelling.

My grandma who lived in Mexico at the time my parents left me was in California. She took me with her to Mexico. And basically raised me.
Along with my aunt Sara.

I am now 15 and my grandma wanted me to study in the United States. So we moved to Colorado.

I was looking out the window while my aunt was driving us to our new place.
All the houses looked the same.

We finally stopped, and took the boxes on the porch, the fence were barely standing.

I looked over to my aunt and grandma. I was anxious about everything. And they noticed.

My grandma walked over to me. "Mira mija, yo se que no te gusta mucha la idea de que nos vinimos a vivir acá, pero es lo mejor. Yo quiero lo mejor para ti.. yo se que te vas ir acostumbrado nomas ten paciencia." (Look, I know you don't really like the idea of living here, but it's for the best, I want the best for you. Trust me.. you'll get used to it, just have patience." My grandma said while holding my hands.

"Entiendo abuelita." (I understand grandma." I said. I was Tired from being in the car for days.
I just wanted to lay in a bed and stay there forever.

A week passed and it was Sunday. Which meant I had to go to school the next day.
