"Don't come into my room again!!!"
Yeorin shouted, yet Yejin merely shrugged, retreating to her room with an air of indifference. With a soft groan, she rose from her bed and made her way to the bathroom. There, she disrobed and stepped into the shower, adjusting the water temperature until the warm water enveloped her, eliciting a contented sigh as it washed over her skin.
She lathered soap in her hands and spread it over her tired body, the weight of the day still pressing on her. Yet, thoughts of Seungmin lingered. How could no one have anticipated a new student? She decided to set those questions aside for now, focusing instead on her shower. Once finished, she dried off with a towel.
Standing in front of the mirror, she took in her reflection: dark circles under her eyes and messy hair made her cringe. She let out a soft groan and splashed some water on her face before reaching for her toothbrush. As she brushed her teeth, her mind kept wandering back to Seungmin, who looked striking in his school uniform.
There was something.. undeniably different about him, and it sparked her curiosity. After finishing brushing her teeth, she let out a weary sigh and made her way to her room, slipping into her soft sleepwear before collapsing onto her bed. As she settled into the inviting embrace of her sheets, her eyelids grew heavy, surrendering to the gentle pull of sleep.

As Seungmin concluded his shift and prepared to head home, his thoughts lingered on Yeorin, a name that rolled effortlessly off the tongue and resonated in his mind. Intrigued by her class and the allure of her presence, he reflected on her companion, aware that if both he and Yeorin would likely hesitate to initiate a conversation at school. Thus, he resolved to seek out her best friend, determined to bridge the gap between them.
He sighed contentedly, a smile playing at the corners of his lips as he recalled the delicate blush that graced Yeorin's cheeks whenever he drew near, prompting a soft chuckle from him. Perhaps he was overanalyzing the situation, but the thought flitted through his mind: Does Yeorin have a crush on me? He dismissed the thought, reluctant to entertain such boldness, considering instead that she might simply be shy in his presence, uncertain around boys. Perhaps, just perhaps...
Suddenly, a thought of Hyunjin crossed his mind. He quickly retrieved his phone from his pocket and texted his friend inquiring about Yeorin's number. His heart raced with anticipation as his phone buzzed almost instantly, revealing the coveted digits. A faint "yes..." of victory escaped his lips, and he eagerly added her to his contacts, the thrill of possibility coursing through him.
Although he intended to reach out to Yeorin's friend first, he felt an irresistible urge to add her number to his contact list. Yearning for a connection between them-whether it blossomed into friendship or something deeper-he welcomed any opportunity that might arise. Maybe this is better.
As the bus came to a stop, he stepped off and walked toward home, the brisk wind refreshing against his skin. Thoughts of Yeorin brought a smile to his face; he didn't feel anything romantic for her-just a simple curiosity. He hummed a soft tune as he skipped along the path of his house.
Upon arriving, he slipped off his shoes and promptly retreated to his room, changing into his cozy pajamas. He then collapsed onto his bed with a contented sigh, relishing the sheer satisfaction of the moment.
"I wonder what she thinks about me?"
He murmured drowsily, adjusting to find a more comfortable position, his mind occupied with thoughts of Yeorin that kept him restless. Suddenly, his eyes shot open as the realization of his own distraction struck him.
