Chapter 25

A few days later,

In the hospital,

Their one month trail was done and Seokmin was checking up on Seungcheol. They were waiting for the results, now.

"So, if the results are perfect than he can continue working, right? He can take the CEO position, right?" Jeonghan asked.

"Yes, he can" Seokmin said "But then, it will be weekly check-ups like they are now and, addition to that, even a slightest change, I have to be notified immediately" 

"Will do!" Seungcheol said with a smile.

"Where is Joshua hyung, though?" Seokmin asked "Aren't you both with him always at a time like this and he is working with Cheol hyung, right?" 

JeongCheol looked at each other once and then at Seokmin.

"He had to go to Italy for some work, so Wonwoo is helping with work since last week" Jeonghan said.

"Isn't Wonwoo his right hand?! Why did he even go without his right hand?!" Seokmin asked in surprise.

"But Minghao is his left hand, so Mingahao is still with him. He is not alone" Seungcheol said.

"At least someone is there with him. Is he in contact?" Seokmin asked and the two shook their heads.

"He is only in contact with Wonwoo and that also only if necessary. He has called Wonwoo only twice for the whole week" Seungcheol said.

"He is not even contact you, Jeonghan hyung?"

"Nope. He said, for this mission, it's better to stay out of contact" Jeonghan shrugged "It's not like I can do anything about it, anyways. He is supposed to come back next week but let's see what happens"

"Next week?" Seungcheol asked "Wonwoo told me that he will be back next to next week" Seungcheol was a bit worried, now.

"Seems like his trip to Italy has extended by a week" Jeonghan said. Even though he acts like he isn't worried, but they know that he is.

The twins were never good at expressing emotions, but the others can guess the emotion they feel when they look into their eyes or the way they speak, especially Seungcheol. He can always guess what the twins are feeling and why.

"He will be fine" Seungcheol pecked his cheek which made Jeonghan smile.

"Doctor" a nurse came and handed him the file of papers and then left.

Seokmin was reading each and every paper thoroughly before he closed the file and kept it on the table as he looked at the two in front of him.

"So, what is it? Can I get over the CEO position?" Seungcheol asked with an eager look.

Seokmin shook his head "Not yet, your stress level increased from last week. So, I can't let you get over the CEO position until Joshua hyung is back"

"But he still has time" Seungcheol pouted.

"Then you will have to wait. I am not blaming Wonwoo hyung, but Joshua hyung knows Seungcheol hyung better and how to handle certain things" Seokmin leaned back on his chair.

"He better come back uninjured and soon!" Seungcheol huffed and pouted.

"He will be back, soon. If he extends, then he will let us know" Jeonghan said patting Seungcheol's head who was still pouting.

"But what is he doing that is making him stay no contact with us?!" Seungcheol whined "It's been so long since I have heard his voice"

"I don't know what he is doing, Cheollie. I don't understand the mafia matter properly just like he bangs his head while doing business, so I have no idea why he is out of contact or what work he has" Jeonghan tired to explain to Seungcheol.

"Just ask Wonwoo hyung" Seokmin suggested.

"I did! But he won't bulge either" Seungcheol rolled his eyes and got up "Now, I want ice creams! Get me some ice creams!" 

"Yes, boss" Jeonghan said.

They both bid Seokmin a 'goodbye' and left.

After they left, Seokmin immediately took his phone out and called Joshua who picked it up in one call.

"Why the hell are you out of contact with both of them?!" Seokmin asked.

"Hello to you too and I am just out of contact with Cheollie. I can't let him get the slightest idea of the mess, I am"

"He thinks you don't contact Wonwoo hyung"

"I don't. I only call him if necessary because if he gets stressed with too much work then Cheollie would know what is happening because Mingyu won't shut up his damn mouth about how his boyfriend is so fucking busy" Seokmin felt like Joshua did an eye roll.

"Okay, calm down. A month was over today"

"I know. I was waiting for you to call me after they are gone. So, what is it?"

"The results are completely fine, but as you and Jeonghan hyung requested, I told him to wait until you are back. But, why did you both ask me to do that? What the fuck are you both hiding?!"

"Because some shit is about to go down. I will have to deal with that personally before he takes over, I will do that next week when I am back"

Seokmin frowned "You lied to him about coming back next to next week?!"

"No, something happened that made me had to postponed the come back, but now, everything is settled, faster and sooner than I expected, so,  I should be back next week. Don't let him know. Everyone in the office by now knows that I will be back next to next week, so let's keep it that way"

Seokmin sighed "Fine! Don't tell me, but Cheol hyung is safe, right?"

"As long as he doesn't take the CEO position till I am back"
