𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑇𝑤𝑜

Amy was pacing around the room, she was deep in thought as I watched her go back and forth, I sigh-squeaked, annoyed with everything.

Eventually, my friend let out a "AHA!" and ran over to the couch, where she'd left her phone. She picked it up, did some typing, then paused.

Tap, tap, tap, went her fingers. She looked really focused.

Pause.

Tap, tap, tap.

She then waited, inhaling deeply, before tapping her phone again, and holding it to her ear.

"Hey- yeah, yeah. Uh-huh, okay sure I'm sure that's SUPER important, more important then the fact that your friend has been turned into a regular hedgehog." Pause. "Uh-huh, it's true."

Another pause.

"Yeah, I get it edge lord, but c'monnnnnnnnnn, are you REALLY gonna let him stay like that by himself? Do you have any idea how much that would drive him crazy?"

Pause.

"Well, yeah, I DO know that you'd drive him bonkers too, but I'm going with Tails and Blaze on a trip, an important trip."

Pause.

"Really? YAY! You won't regret this-! Awe c'mon I'm serious! Okay see you so-"

There was a flash, and the last person I expected to show up, popped up right in front of me and Amy.

"Oh- well that was fast." Amy blinked.

Shadow glared at her, then at me.

"You're sure you can't just stay?" He questioned.

"Shadow. You will stay here, and you will watch him. And you WILL be nice!" Amy got closer with every word, she was in one of her 'don't fuck around with me' moods.

Shadow gave her a blank look, but I could tell that he was slightly intimidated. Which was not a good thing for me.

I for one, was not Shadow's biggest fan, I usually found his stupidly pretty eyes and oddly handsome voice quite annoying.

He rolled those annoyingly enchanting rubies of his and snorted. "Fine."

"YAY!" Amy rejoiced, and just then, the door opened and Tails walked in, he looked up, his expression calm. But it quickly turned to concern when he saw me, Amy, and Shadow.

"Uh, what's going on?" Tails asks, and Amy explains everything. After she'd explained it all, he stared at with wide eyes. "Well, maybe I should stay."

Yes! I thought hopefully. Please, please, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!

"Tails," Amy says, "Shadow's gonna watch him. Besides, remember Plan Emerald and Ruby?"

Tails thought for a moment, then nodded. "Oh, right."

I let out a 'what do you meaaaaaaaaaaan??????' squabble, and Tails gave me a confused expression.

"Huh?"

"He doesn't want us to go, but alas, we must, and soon." Amy shrugged. She led Tails out of the room, leaving me and Shadow alone.

This really WOULD be a long, LONG three weeks . . .
