FULL SUMMARY!
Madeline is ecstatic when her boyfriend Cam's family invites her to spend the summer with them at their Malibu beach house. This excitement dissipates, however, when she learns that Leilani, her boyfriend's best friend, will be coming along as well. Madeline meets Lani for the first time on the trip to the beach house and is immediately convinced that she has unspoken feelings for Cam. Considering this first impression, it comes as a surprise when Madeline discovers that Lani is a lesbian. Throughout their stay at the beach house, Lani and Madeline develop a friendship, and she begins to question her relationship with Cam, as well as her sexuality.
