It was now 5:45 p.m and both Klaus and cami were in his car.
They had agreed to drive instead of walk.
"Where exactly are we going?" He asked
"Anywhere"
"Cami"
"Mmm?"
"You never told me how you became a vampire"
She stayed silent
"You don't have to if you're not comfortable"
"It was around 3 months after the twins were born. They weren't with me at that time but they didn't know that"
"Who's they?"
"People that had a grudge against you and those that were scared. They were hidden quite well I made sure no one knew about them but somehow they found out"
"Were you in mystic falls then?"
"No, I was in Belgium. I couldn't stay in mystic falls they are too many supernaturals here. They blew up my house with me in it"
His hands tightened on the steering wheel
"I was outside so I didn't burn but it did kill me"
He was breathing heavier now
She turned to him
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, continue"
"Klaus if you want me to stop-"
"Continue"
She watched him for a few seconds and Continued
"I woke up in a hospital. Damon and Bonnie were there. She was looking at me weirdly and damon was panicking.
He later explained how he had been lacing every drink I had every day with his blood because he felt something bad wa saying to happen"
"You said you were in Belgium, they were there with you?"
"Not all of them, it was just the two and katherine. Stefan would visit sometimes"
"How long were you angry with him?"
"About 3 and a half months"
"How did you meet them?"
"Bonnie abducted me" She said as she smiled
"She abducted you?"
"Yeah, apparently it was because she could feel I had a connection with you and they thought I might be dangerous"
"Did she hurt you?"
"No. They reacted better than I thought they would especially after what you told me happened between you and them"
"When did you move to Belgium?"
"A month after they were born and I moved back here when the incident happened"
She looked at him. He had an angry expression on his face
"Klaus?"
"This was my fault" He whispered sadly
"What was?"
"You died because of me"
"I would have become a vampire either way you know. Whether willingly or not. It's not like I was planning to be human for the rest of my life"
"You weren't?" He asked, he was confused. She never talked about becoming a vampire
"No i wasn't, I wouldn't want to leave you alone"
