When Justice opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was the overwhelming silence. Instead of the sterile walls of the hospital, he found himself lying on soft, moss-covered ground, surrounded by towering trees that stretched toward the heavens. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and the sweet musk of blooming flowers, a stark contrast to the hospital smells he had grown accustomed to.

Confused, he rose to his feet, examining his surroundings. The forest was unlike anything he had ever seen, filled with vibrantly colored plants and an ethereal glow that pulsed through the leaves. Birds with iridescent feathers flitted through the branches, their songs creating a melodic backdrop to the strange, magical atmosphere.

Justice's heart raced as he tried to piece together what had happened. Had he died? Was this an afterlife? As he pondered, a familiar warmth around his neck drew his attention. The star-shaped necklace had returned, but it radiated a powerful energy, unlike anything he had ever felt.

Suddenly, the necklace transformed before his eyes, morphing into a magnificent weapon—a star-shaped blade that shimmered with ethereal light. Justice's eyes widened in awe as he grasped the hilt, feeling a surge of power coursing through him.

“I’m not just alive,” he muttered to himself, a grin spreading across his face. “I’m overpowered!”

With a newfound sense of purpose, Justice set off into the forest. He felt an insatiable hunger for adventure, a burning desire to explore this strange new world and master his abilities. Over the next five years, he trained relentlessly, battling monstrous creatures and honing his skills. The Forest of the Dead, as it was ominously known, became both his sanctuary and his proving ground.

Each day brought new challenges, and with each victory, he grew stronger. He faced beasts that roamed the underbrush—ferocious wolves with eyes like molten gold, and serpentine creatures that slithered through the shadows. But with the Star Cutter by his side, he faced them all with confidence.

Justice learned to wield the weapon as if it were an extension of himself. It could change shape at his will, becoming anything from a sword to a shield or even a gun, as long as he have seen the weapon, he can just imagine it. Each transformation filled him with exhilaration, and he reveled in the power he wielded.

During his training, Justice discovered the forest’s secrets. Hidden groves filled with ancient magic revealed themselves to him, granting him new abilities and enhancing his strength. He learned to navigate the treacherous terrain, developing instincts that allowed him to sense danger before it struck.

But with power came solitude. Though he fought alongside creatures of magic and mystery, he longed for companionship. The memories of his life in Benin lingered in the back of his mind, and he often thought of Amara, wondering if she felt his absence. Would she mourn the man who had deceived her? (But the main reason for even being a fraudster, was to contribute to the orphanage that took care of him when he was little, his past life).

As the years passed, Justice embraced his new identity. He became a legend within the forest, a dark figure that struck fear into the hearts of monsters. Whispers circulated among the creatures; they spoke of a man who wielded the power of stars, and tales of his deeds echoed through the trees.

One fateful day, after years of training, Justice stood atop a hill overlooking the vast expanse of the forest. He felt the energy of the land flowing through him, a connection that made him feel invincible. “I am ready,” he declared, the wind carrying his words into the open sky.

With a newfound determination, Justice set his sights on the world beyond the Forest of the Dead. He would claim his destiny, not just as a rogue, but as a powerful figure who would leave his mark on this realm. The adventure awaited, and he was ready to seize it.
