In the halls where we seldom spoke,
I walked each day, with silent hope,
To see your smile, to catch your glance,
In those brief moments, l'd find my chance.
Five small talks, yet they hold so much,
Your words, your smile, your gentle touch,
I wrote them down, afraid they'd fade,
But in my heart, those memories stayed.
You left so quick, without goodbye,
I waited long, I wondered why,
I searched the crowds, but you were gone,
The days felt cold, the nights too long.
Yet still I hope, though you're away,
That paths will cross, and you'll someday stay,
For though we've parted, far and wide,
You'll always be here, by my side.-by Apan
