Returning back to the Saucer was a strange concept, it wasn't even that long ago that they were all here, having fun and playing around; being back now, with the sole purpose to find Dio and any traces of the keystone just hung over everyone. The bright lights, the happy faces of workers and visitors alike seemed slightly hollow now, not so inviting to join in with the entertainment which was present.
"Well, it would be a shame if we didn't have some fun at least, right?" Yuffie was almost bouncing beside Nelly, she even went as far as nudging her arm against the yellow eyed woman beside her. "Plus! You owe me a rematch!" Yuffie pointed a finger this time firmly in Nelly's face, she just sheepishly smiled and waved her hand away. So, even if she didn't want to, it seemed like Nelly was being roped into a Battle Brawlers game. She fluked a win once, and Yuffie just wasn't going to drop it, her friend was a sore loser, unfortunately...
"At least try to look like we're here for a reason," Nelly whispered to Yuffie, the ninja girl pouted and rested her interlocked hands behind her head. She did nod, clearly listening to Nelly but also with how her brown eyes were looking over the welcoming brightly light foyer, Nelly got the feeling she wasn't wholly listening to her. Nelly sighed and hung her head and looked down when Cait patted her sympathetically on the leg.
"Exactly," Cloud had heard the pair talking, more Yuffie than Nelly, the younger female was not exactly an expert on volume control. "We should split up to look for Dio."
"Sure! Will do," Yuffie even turned and saluted back at the blonde, the wide smile on her face slipping for a moment to look like she intended to do that straight away.
"If I catch you goofing off, so help me, I'll..." Barrett said, his voice sounding more menacing and serious than what he may have intended. But even if he intended to be serious and get Yuffie on track to finding the director, all he succeeded in was her letting out a startled noise.
Nelly side stepped, Yuffie was off with Barrett trailing after her, his boots making heavy echoing sounds, she just smiled and watched them go. Well, it seemed like he intended to try and keep her on track, but honestly, Nelly was wondering how long it would be until Yuffie managed to give him the slip. After all, she could make a doppelganger of herself, Nelly was actually expecting that to happen, the clone could stick with Barrett while the real her was off having fun. She actually imagined the real Yuffie springing up and pulling her towards the games.
Maybe to avoid that, she'd stick with someone. Tifa and Aerith were already walking off talking amongst themselves, Cloud was having a conversation with Cait and Nelly jumped forwards and walked between Cid and Vincent with a smile. Cid naturally just grinned back; he was enthusiastic to be here, Vincent as ever was silent; though his red eyes were looking about at everything, Nelly didn't know when he was last here, but the way he was observing everything she guessed some things had definitely changed.
"Where are you going to go first, Cid?" Nelly asked, her hands resting against the tops of her swords. Not that she needed her weaponry here, but it was always nice not to have to relinquish them for some such reason. It wasn't like she was going to just swing them about and endanger strangers. She'd only use her swords if she needed to.
With a hand to his chin, Cid looked at the small group of dancing people and grinned again. "A bar with some racin' sounds great." There were moogle maps dotted about everywhere, so it was easy for him to find the destination he wanted. "How about you?"
"Well, I guess I have to make it not so obvious that I'm going to go find Yuffie so..." Nelly trailed off and eventually rolled her eyes up at their silent companion. "Where are you going, Vincent?"
Cid could look over the top of Nelly with ease, being taller than her, but both of them looked Vincent's way and saw his dark eyebrows pull together in a frown. He shut his eyes, there was a quiet sigh before his gaze drifted in their direction. Both of them just watched him patiently, Vincent looked around again and shook his head, "Somewhere quieter than here."
