Within this world, all that could be seen was a vast area full of dead plants, destroyed houses, and structures.

The remains of both humans and Pokemon littered the grounds, their bones, their blood...

What had caused such an event could only be called a catastrophe...
Its figure was obscured by black clouds, but the darkness it brought could be seen as clear as day.

Long black tentacles destroyed what was left of the environment, eating away at it like a parasite.

Only two beings, a yellow bipedal tiger and a gray humanoid cockroach, it was taller than even the tiger.

The cockroach looked down on the tiger and said.

"Zeta? If this is the end... Then it was an honor fighting by your side,"

The tiger turned to her and smiled.
"Likewise, Omi, I wouldn't have made it this far without you; I owe you my life... And I pray to Arceus that we meet again in another life,"
The two were about to have their final stand against the darkness.

A purple light engulfed the sky in its radiance.

"Infernal parade!" A male voice spoke out loudly, and then Giant balls of purple flames destroyed the darkness in one fell swoop.

Zeta and Omi were taken aback by this; never had they witnessed such power in their lives; the very same darkness that had destroyed their world was defeated in one hit.

The sky regained its natural blue color, revealing the ones responsible for defeating the darkness.

It was a young man with spiky white hair in a red jumpsuit and his partner a strange-looking Typhlosion.

"Guess we were too late in saving this world from the "Beyond." Well, at least we saved a Zeraora and a pheromosa, right Tai?"

"Tyyyyyh!" Typhlosion answered his trainer with a smile.

"You... You're a human?" Zeta the Zeraora spoke up.

The white-haired man looked at him and said.
"Yep, I'm Sort of human..."

"No way, you understood him?" Omi the Pheramosa was shocked; a human who could understand a Pokemon?

"Yeah... My father was a Typlosion, so I'm half Pokemon... Anyway, I'm sorry about your world getting destroyed, The Beyond is an Omni being, I could use your help destroying the others in different dimensions,"

Zeta couldn't believe his ears, "Others... So this darkness... That ruined my world isn't even the main darkness?!"

"I'm sorry, but that Darkness is Beyond anything you could think of, will you aid me?"

As Zeta was about to reply, Oni moved in front of him and asked.
"How do we know you aren't working for the darkness?"

The man sighed and took off his black goggles, revealing his bright blue eyes.
"My name is Eric... And I've been fighting against this thing all my life,"
