Chapter 18-Our Room

Joey's Pov

After a long day, Me and Shane just watched Tv on the couch. I was laying down while my head was on Shane's lap. He was running his fingers through my hair. We were like that for a good two hours. We watched random things that I wasn't really paying attention to. I was lost in my thoughts. Thinking about me. Thinking about Shane. Thinking about us. But mostly thinking about the one thing that terrified me. Coming out. I wasn't ready to come out. It scared me. It petrified me. I wasn't ready for all that hate. I wouldn't be able to take it. I hear Shane yawn and his whole body moves from under me.

Shane: Are you tired?

I wasn't thinking about it but I actually was. I yawn then turn my body to be able to see his beautiful face.

Joey: Yes, actually.

I stretch out my body.

Shoey: Fuu

He grabs his crotch and scrunches up his. I laugh at him.

Joey: I am so sorry. Did I get you?

I say while still laughing. He nods. I laugh harder but lean up to kiss his cheek.

Joey: Sorry.

He lets go of his crotch and relaxes.

Shane: It's Okay.

I give him a quick kiss on the lips.

Joey: Lets go to bed.

I get off the couch and Shane does the same.

Shane: Night baby.

He slowly starts walking to the opposite side of the house.

Joey: Where are you going?

Shane: My bedroom.

Joey: Nope, we share a room now. Come on, Lets go to OUR room.

I smile and put out my hand.

Shane: I thought you wouldn't ask.

He grabs my hand and I lead him to the bedroom. I let go of his hand and take off my shirt and pants then jump in to the bed. I notice Shane was just staring at the end of the bed, staring at me.

Joey: Whats wrong? Come on!

He shook his head as he came out of the weird trace he was in.

Shane: Oh, Yeah. I'm coming.

He stripped to his underwear then got under the covers with me. We got close together and held each other.

Joey: Night.

Shane: Night love.

And then I fell asleep with a smile on my mouth and love in my heart.
