Chapter 5- Lets get you home

{shane Pov}

Its the next day and Joey still hasn't waken. The doctor says he is doing just fine and should wake up but he hasn't moved. I haven't talked to Lisa since she left. The doctor walked in to check in on him. He looked over him.

Doctor: He still isn't awake but he should be able to hear you.

Shane: Really? Okay, Thanks.

Doctor: Your welcome Shane.

He left once again.

Shane: Joey?

{Joey Pov}
{author- since Joey is in a coma an can't actually talk, I will put him "talking" in bold. Remember, Shane can't hear him back.}

I can't see anything. Its dark.

?:He still isn't awake but he should be able to hear you.

?: Really? Okay, Thanks.

Is that Shane?

?: Your welcome Shane.

Shane!

Shane: Joey?

Yes! Shane! Its me! I have your wallet!

Shane: Its Shane.

Well no dip, Sherlock.

Shane: Let me tell you what happened.

Please do!

Shane: You got in a car accident, just so you can get me my wallet.

I could tell he started to cry.

Shane: Its all my fault Joey.

No! Shane it wasn't your fault. Shane I love you! Please don't blame yourself.

He grabbed my hand. I try as hard as I could to squeeze back.

{Shane Pov}

I grabbed his hand. He squeezed my hand back. Not tight but he did it.

Shane: Joey!

{Joey Pov}

I did it!

Shane: Joey! Wake up! You can do it!

I'm trying!

And there was the light.

{Shane Pov}

I saw his beautiful eyes flutter open.

Shane: Joey?

Joey: Shane! I can see you!

Shane: I can hear you!

We laughed. I hugged him and he hugged back. We left go of eachother.

Shane: I'm so sorry, Joey. It was all my fault.

Joey: No, it wasn't Shane.

The doctor walked in.

Doctor: Oh, your awake.

Joey: Yes, sir.

Doctor: Well since your awake you are free to go.

Joey: Yay.

He left the room.

Joey: Oh and Shane!

Shane: Yes?

Joey reached over to the table beside him and picked up a wallet.

Joey: Here is your wallet.

We laughed and I stuck the wallet in my pocket.

Shane: Thanks now come on lets get you home.
