Chapter 3- Delivering the wallet

{Shane Pov}

I was back at home and i was watching Cupcake wars on the couch. Then my phone rang. Joey texted me.

Joey: Hey Shane. You left your wallet here. Do you want me to drive it over there?

Shane: Oh thanks Joey! That would be awesome!

Joey: Kay! See you in a bit!

Shane: Bye! and Thank you again!

{Joeys pov}

I grabbed my phone and mine and Shane's wallet. I started the car and was off. I was driving down the street towards Shane's. All of a sudden a giant noise came out of no where. It sounded like a car horn. Then two headlights come towards me and everything goes black.

{Shane Pov}

I here my ringtone go off. The caller ID said that it was Joey.

Shane: Hey Joey!

?: Hello is this Shane?

Shane: Yes. Who is this?

Police officer: Hi I am from the Police Department. Joey has gotten in a serious car accident. You were the last he contacted and had your wallet.

Shane: No! Joey!

Tears started to form in my eyes.

Police officer: May i ask you a question?

Shane: Y-yes

Police officer: Why did he have your wallet?

Shane: I-i left it at his place. He was bringing it to me.

Tears were pouring down my face.

Police officer: Okay, thank you.

Shane: Will he be okay?!

Police officer: I'm not so sure. He had major head injuries and is being sent to the hospital.

Shane: Thank you, goodbye.

I hung up before he answered. I hopped off the couch.

Shane: LISA!! COME ON!!!! WE NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!!!
