Niyamat's Pov:

The fair was sparkling with different colorful lights. The children laughing and running around, couples walking, the sound of laughter was everywhere. The sound of cotton candy machine, sizzling sounds coming from food stalls and different games made the fair more alive.

The fair was not very crowded but still it was shining. In midst of all these, we were walking a bit distanced from each other looking around. The big fairy wheel decorated with red , blue, yellow and green lights was like the the main attraction for everyone.

Looking around my eyes stopped at a small stall where people were playing a game. It was one of those toss ring games where they throw a ring towards the items placed on the shelves and if it falls on it they get that item.

"Let's try that," zafar said as he noticed me staring there. Without saying anything further he went towards there and I followed him.
"You go first," he said with a smile giving me 3 rings. "No no, my aim is not good you go first." I gave him back the rings as he chuckled. "Okay I'll try first. Which one do you want?" He asked,

I looked around the items on the shelf. Different Chocolates, toys , plushies were placed there. Looking at all those made me feel like a kid again. I used to come to fairs when I was little with abbu and ammu. Among all those my eyes caught a brown bear plushie. It was fluffy with a cute expression. "I want that," I said excitedly.

"Alright," He threw the ring towards the bear plushie, and at the very first try the ring went in. " Yes! " I jumped like a kid. " Let's try that one! " I pointed towards another yellow Duck plushie. And just like before the ring went in. "Now your turn," zafar said giving me the last ring.

Unfortunately I was not good with aiming like him and my ring missed the spot."ugh" I sighed. "It's okay we got two plushies,", he said cheering me up. The stall owner handed us the plushies," Aghh look it's so cute " I said hugging the bear like a 5 year old. I looked at Zafar, he was looking at me smiling. Only then I realized how I was behaving couple of minutes ago. I completely forgot about my surroundings.

Before I could say anything he spoke, "You look beautiful when you smile,". My cheeks started to feel warm as the blood rushed in. I kept looking at him as my heart pounded inside my chest. He was looking at me still smiling with adoration. "Uh T-thank you," I said looking down completely flustered.

"Let's go, we should go home it's getting dark." I said trying to avoid any eye contact as he chuckled. We started walking towards the car. The rest of the ride we didn't spoke a word.

We reached infront of my house, and got out of the car. "Here," he said passing me the two plushies. "But you won these," I said refusing to take. " Well I'm giving it to you, so now it's yours,". A smile appeared on my face as I took the bear plushie. " Okay but I'll take only one, you can have the other one." . " As your wish, Ducky you're mine then." He said looking towards the plushie and we both chuckled like kids.

"Thank you,"
" For what?" He asked confused.
" For giving the effort to know me,"
" Well, then I should thank you for giving me a chance to know you," he said with a gentle smile.

I looked at him. His eyes filled with honesty as he spoke. It doesn't feel wrong anymore thinking that I gave someone a chance again. It felt right.

" See you soon then," "Soon," He said still looking at me smiling. I turned around walking towards my house. I looked back once again before entering. He was still standing there, leaning against his car, his hands folded. I looked at him one last time and closed the door.

After getting fresh, I sat on my bed drying my hair with a towel. When my eyes went towards the bedside table where I put the bear. I smiled, " You're so cute Mr.Bear." I said as I hold the bear close to me. " What do you think about Zafar Mr Bear? Isn't He a gentleman? Do we like him? He's likeable right?" I talked with the bear like a kid chuckling. " Hmm not bad."
