Episode 4: Ravager and Esther Stone Part 2
Brooklyn sat upup on the couch. She took three deep breaths as Ronnie went to her side. Brooklyn looked around the room until her eyes landed on Mia.
"Mia?" Brooklyn whispered before she suddenly gasped in pain. She raised her arm before gasping at the sight of it completely missing.
"Try to calm down." Ronnie said softly. "What do you remember?"
"Uh... I was... uhh... in the woods..." Brooklyn started slowly and unsure.
"Try to rest." Ronnie suggested before turning to Mia. "You, too."
Brooklyn looked up at Mia confused.
"Mia... how..." Brooklyn started but Mia ran out of the room causing Ronnie to sigh. She followed the girl as Brooklyn looked up and let herself sleep.
A few days ago
Colorado
A week prior, Brooklyn drove her bike through the forests of Colorado. She looked to the left to see Kenji's trailer causing her to sigh. She drove faster.
A few minutes later she pulled into nearby house. She took her helmet off and looked around till her eyes landed on a DPW officer. The officer nodded and opened the gate to the garden allowing her to enter. She walked forward and saw the man she was meeting with.
Daniel Kon.
She walked towards the man who was glaring at her.
"You're welcome." Daniel spat.
"For...?" Brooklyn asked.
"Agreeing to meet with you." Kon said. "Despite you being the reason I'm incarcerated."
"I think you're the reason you're incarcerated." Brooklyn argued. "We didn't torture Dino's or try to kill anyone. And we certainly didn't kill Maria and Nathan Grady."
Kon sighed.
"You should've brought Kenji." Kon said. "He's all I have left in this world."
"You didn't feel that way when you made Mia all Pat had in this world." Brooklyn shot back causing Kon to raise his eyebrow.
"Had?" Kon asked.
"She's dead." Brooklyn growled. "The same Dino you used to kill Patrick's mom and brother."
"Hm. And you don't suppose it was just a random attack?" Kon asked.
