Slicing is now completed, and the server again served the slices in plates for everyone. Again, the chatter resumed, but this time, Hamsa got involved and started yapping about her school, classes, and friends. Nila enjoyed the little chatter while her cheesecake melted in her mouth.
After what felt like a long time, one of the staff informed that the time for their reservation is about to be done, so Nila did what's the best thing to do, asked the staff to pack the rest of the cake in two halves. The staff did oblige with her request as they packed the remaining cake in lavish boxes with their logo engraved in golden. It felt like a royal gift. They thanked the staff for the experience and left the place.
At the parking lot, Nila bent to the height of the little girl, gifted her half of her cake, and said, "Some for family too..." ruffling her hair. The girl thanked for the gift and ran towards their two-wheeler.
"... Thank you so much for today. You made her day... I don't know what would have happened if I believed that son of a---" Nila stops him before he curses out loud.
"We're in public, with children around..." Nila reminds the man. He apologises immediately, and the chat changes.
"Hey! If you tell me the amount of the bill, I'll refund you..." the man says as the lady slowly turns towards him, smiles small, and says, "Consider it as the birthday gift for the princess... Don't worry about it..." she just responds while removing her two wheeler from parking.
"Do we meet again?" The guy asks, and again, the girl smiles small and replies, "If it's in the destiny..."
The guy submits at the answer and lets the girl leave. When she drove for a few feet distance or so, the guy shouts, "My name is Surya..."
No response but a small sound of smile followed by another shout but from the other side, "Nila..."
Surya and Nila, the sun and the moon, only meet at the end of the universe.
