Hello my friend,
it's me again. Do you also have some big crazy ideas and dreams? Like when you want to visit that one place and you say one day, one day I will go there. But you only enter the bus, always same number, at the same time and follow your routine. You do this every day, but also every day could be the day when you fulfil your dreams. Or at least take a first step.
Yeah, like this, it sounds we are cursed. Plus, we are scared what would happen. You know, it sounds scary to get lost in some foreign country or worry about what would others think. Now imagine you are 70 years old talking about your life to your grandchildren. What sounds more interesting? "I used to work for the same boring company for 20 years." or "One day I packed my stuff and went to my own adventure."? It doesn't matter if it's good or not, but if it's interesting for the story, you can consider it good. Story of how you got lost in the middle of the city and without knowledge of language tried to ask for help. How you slept under the stars that one cold night, thought you will never find way home, but then you made it.
When we watch movie, read or write stories, we don't want main character to live normal life. We don't want to see only good things and how life is easy or every day the same. We are excited to see how he deals with all the struggles, does crazy things and learns. In the end we wish him all the best, but journey makes us hold our breaths because more interesting and unexpected it is, the better. Imagine if we could live our life for the story, not comfort zone. Earlier or later, something unbelievable would happen, something that is worth to be kept in our memories. But the best thing is, we can do that, we can live that. We can be scared, but if we find the courage, nothing can stop us. Yes, we shouldn't risk so much, stay safe if possible to survive. But don't forget to live.
