Escaro pulled a Senzu Bean from her pocket and fed it to the unconscious Airil. Moments after he swallowed, vitality surged through him. His wounds healed instantly, his muscles regained strength, and his eyes shot open. He gasped, sitting up quickly.
"Lord Arma..." Airil said to the God of Destruction. "Thank you for the opportunity to fight."
Arma's smirk widened, amusement flickering in his eyes. "You Saiyans are strange creatures," he said in his usual bored tone. "But at least you know how to enjoy a fight."
Airil stood, bowing respectfully, though frustration simmered beneath his gratitude. He had used every transformation and still couldn't make Arma break a sweat. The gap between them was immense.
"Please, train me," Airil said firmly.
"Train you?" Arma raised an eyebrow, chuckling. "Me? No. You couldn't handle my training. But perhaps..." He gestured lazily toward Zuriel, who watched silently.
Zuriel nodded. "I would be honored to train you," he said, his gaze shifting to Escaro. "And perhaps you, too."
"Me?" Escaro blinked, surprised.
"Training is more effective with a partner of similar strength," Zuriel explained. "And you two are close enough in power to push each other."
Escaro's competitive spirit flared. "Of course I want training!" she snapped. "No way I'm letting Airil get stronger than me."
"Then it's settled," Arma said, clapping his hands. "You'll both come with me and Zuriel. We'll go to my world, where your training can be... unrestricted."
Airil, eager to begin, nodded. "When do we leave?"
"Wait," Escaro interrupted. "What about Ruko? We can't leave him behind."
Airil scowled. "Ruko vanished after we wiped out Hale's army. He'll be fine, and we'll be far stronger by the time he returns."
Escaro hesitated but couldn't resist the chance for more training. "Alright, fine," she conceded.
"Good." Arma placed his hand on Zuriel's shoulder. "Time to go."
Airil and Escaro placed their hands on each other's shoulders, and in a flash of blinding light, they vanished from Earth's lookout.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They soared through the cosmos at unimaginable speeds, stars and planets blurring past them. An hour later, they arrived at Arma's home world, a sight that left Airil and Escaro awestruck.
They found themselves orbiting around a massive green and purple gas giant, with a binary black hole and a supermassive red giant star casting strange distortions across the sky. Arma's world was actually a moon of the gas giant, with its surface covered in purple grass and crystalline blue waters. The sky above was an ever-changing swirl of red and violet, making it feel as though they had stepped into an alien dreamscape.
As they landed, Airil and Escaro staggered under the crushing gravity, nearly twenty times stronger than Maulara's. Their bodies struggled to adapt, and each movement felt like lifting an immense weight.
"Ah, yes. Welcome to your new home," Arma said, walking away casually. "I expect great things from you two. So don't disappoint me... or you will regret it."
Zuriel watched their struggle with a faint smile. "Don't worry. The more you endure the gravity, the stronger you'll become. This is just the beginning."
Airil and Escaro exchanged uneasy glances but nodded, determined to adapt.
"When do we start training?" Escaro asked, eager despite the intense gravity.
Zuriel chuckled softly. "Patience. First, I need to see where you stand. A sparring match should suffice."
The two Saiyans shared a quick glance before slipping into fighting stances, competitive tension thick in the air.
"Let's see what you've got," Escaro teased.
Airil smirked. "I won't hold back."
At Zuriel's signal, they lunged, moving with sudden speed despite the oppressive gravity. Airil's fist cut through the air, aimed straight for Escaro's face. She dipped to the side, just narrowly avoiding the strike. As she turned, she launched a low kick aimed at his ribs, her muscles straining under the weight of the planet's pull. Airil grunted, catching her foot just in time with a swift block, but the impact sent a ripple of force up his arm. He spun into a counter, his fist trailing energy as it crashed toward her shoulder. Each blow left the air trembling, their strikes creating rippling shockwaves that cracked the ground beneath them.
Zuriel watched closely, noting how well they adapted, how they pushed each other. Their power levels were nearly identical, making this battle one of pure skill and determination.
Their movements became faster, more fluid, despite the crushing gravity that tried to pull them back down. As they soared into the sky, Ki blasts crackled like lightning, their energy painting streaks of light through the alien atmosphere. Airil darted to the left, narrowly dodging one of Escaro's fiery Ki bursts, retaliating with his own barrage. Each blast crackled on impact, scattering debris in all directions. As the fight wore on, their energy surged, golden auras flaring around them like halos of power. Without a word, they powered up. Airil's palms glowed with the familiar bright blue of a Kamehameha, while Escaro's hands pulsed with the purple energy of her Galick Gun. In a split second, they unleashed their full force, beams colliding with a deafening roar. The very air quaked as their energies clashed, creating a massive shockwave that not only rattled the ground but sent tremors through the surrounding mountains. Purple grass was flattened, and the crystal waters rippled violently beneath them.
Zuriel watched in silence, his gaze calm but analytical. Each movement told him more about the two Saiyans. About their growing power, their struggle to adapt to the crushing gravity, and their fierce determination to outdo each other. As their energy blasts collided, his lips curved into a small, approving smile. They were strong, perhaps stronger than he'd anticipated. But still far from reaching their potential. The beams held for several seconds, both fighters pouring every ounce of power into the struggle, their muscles burning under the strain. Finally, with a sound like a thunderclap, the energy exploded outward. Airil and Escaro were hurled backward, skidding across the ground as their golden auras flickered out. They lay there for a moment, gasping for breath, their bodies trembling from the intense effort.
"Enough," Zuriel called. Both Saiyans dropped to the ground, exhausted but invigorated.
"Well done. You're both more than capable... and ready for the next stage."
Airil and Escaro exchanged tired but eager glances.
"So... what now?" Airil asked, panting.
Zuriel's smile widened. "Now, we begin the process to unlock the power of the Super Saiyan God."
Both Saiyans stared in shock, their hearts pounding with excitement.
"Super Saiyan... God?" Escaro whispered, her mind racing with possibilities.
"Yes," Zuriel said, folding his arms. "Your journey is far from over. In fact, it has only just begun."
