Months had passed since Airil and Escaro left to train with Zurial and Arma, leaving Ruko to hunt down the remnants of Hale's army on the planet Colvevis. The watery world was a bleak landscape, covered by vast, unrelenting oceans with only scattered islands providing sparse refuges for Hale's surviving soldiers. These remnants of what was once a mighty army clung to life in these isolated pockets, hoping to evade Ruko's relentless pursuit. However, hiding from him was no easy feat.
On one such island, three of Hale's soldiers huddled around a flickering campfire. The air was thick with tension, the weight of their losses hanging over them like a dark cloud.
"So, what now?" one muttered, poking at the dying fire with a broken stick.
"First, we lay low," another replied, his eyes constantly scanning the horizon for any sign of danger. "After a few months, maybe even a year, we regroup... if anyone's left."
"Shouldn't we get off this planet?" the third soldier asked, his voice trembling slightly. "Ruko's out there, and it's only a matter of time before he finds us. This place isn't safe."
The first soldier hesitated, his confidence wavering. "We'll be fine... We just need to wait it out."
Unbeknownst to them, Ruko was already close, crouched silently on a rocky outcrop overlooking the island. His sharp purple eyes gleamed in the fading sunlight. These three survivors were the last of Hale's forces, and Ruko was ready to end it.
With a grin, Ruko raised his hand, a green Ki blast forming in his palm. He swiftly fired the ball of Ki, the resulting explosion ripping through the cliffside, the shockwave throwing the soldiers to the ground. As the dust settled, they scrambled to their feet, disoriented and terrified.
Emerging from the debris, Ruko stood tall, framed by the setting sun,. His grin widened, eyes glowing with dangerous intent.
"Well, well, well," Ruko said. "I'm glad I finally found you."
One soldier spat on the ground, his trembling hands betraying his defiance. "Damn you, Ruko! How did you find us?" he shouted, his voice cracking with a mix of fear and anger.
Ruko chuckled, stepping forward calmly. "It wasn't hard. There's nothing alive on this planet except you."
The soldiers exchanged panicked glances, realizing the hopelessness of their situation. Desperate, they raised their wrist blasters and fired. But Ruko casually swatted the blasts aside with a single motion, the beams dispersing like mere sparks against his overwhelming power.
"That's it?" he sneered, his smile widening.
Two of the soldiers, unable to contain their fear any longer, charged at him, fists raised in a last-ditch effort to bring him down. But their attacks were pitiful. Their punches connected with Ruko's body, but it was like hitting a solid wall of iron. He didn't even flinch, his expression one of utter boredom. "You're wasting your time," he said flatly.
Realizing their futility, the soldiers staggered back, fear etched on their faces. Ruko sighed, as he slowly raised his hand, summoning three smaller Ki blasts that hovered above his palm. The soldiers took to the sky, fleeing in different directions.
But Ruko's smile only grew darker. With a flick of his wrist, he sent the three blasts racing after them. Explosions lit up the sky, briefly casting an eerie light over the desolate island.
Ruko lowered his arm, his expression unreadable as he gazed at the aftermath. The remnants of Hale's army were no more. "It's done," he muttered under his breath, the finality of his words sinking in.
He pulled out a small device from his belt and pressed a button. Moments later, a pod descended from the sky and crashed into the island, just feet away from Ruko. As the hatch opened with a hiss, Ruko stepped inside, his mind already shifting to what lay ahead. He input the coordinates for Maulara, and the pod launched into the sky, hurtling into space. Leaning back in his seat, Ruko allowed a small sense of satisfaction to wash over him. His mission was complete.

As Ruko's pod entered Maulara's atmosphere, a figure stood atop a high cliff, watching the fiery trail of the descending craft. His sharp, mismatched eyes, one red, the other blue, tracked the pod as it hurtled toward a distant wasteland. A cold smile played on his lips, and his short brown hair rustled in the wind. He stood with his hands in his hoodie pockets, exuding an air of quiet menace.
When Ruko's pod touched down in the wasteland, he stepped out of the pod, breathing in the familiar air of Maulara. "Airil and Escaro must be in the Time Chamber," he muttered to himself. "That's why I can't sense their Ki."
Suddenly, the stranger landed beside him with unnerving silence, causing Ruko's heart to race. He hadn't sensed the man's presence at all.
"Hello, Ruko," the man said calmly, his mismatched eyes locking onto Ruko's.
Ruko's instincts flared as he took a step back. "Who are you?" he demanded, fists clenched.
The stranger's expression remained unreadable. "That's not important."
"What do you want from me?" Ruko asked, his voice strained with unease.
The stranger's smile grew wider, his eyes narrowing with deadly intent. "I've come to kill you."
