The sound of children's laughter filled the Perron's car as they drove up the dirt driveway towards their new house they bought in the country.
"Here we are." Roger shut off the car when pulling in front of the house. He gets out of the car along with his wife, Carolyn. "Wow, hear that?".
Carolyn looked around confused. "Hear what?". She said looking at her husband. "Exactly." Roger smiles making his wife laugh.
Roger opens the backseat door letting out the kids, his oldest Andrea steps out looking around the place. Her long dark hair blue in the wind of the autumn breeze. It was in the middle of nowhere she saw, nothing but trees and woods.
"Oh, God, we're in the middle of nowhere".The rest of their daughters ran towards the front door with their dog, Sadie. "I get to pick my own room!". The littlest one yelled as she followed her older sisters into the house.
"So do I get to pick my own room? Or do I have no choice in that either?". Andrea sarcastically asked her parents as she brushed pasted them to follow her sisters.
Roger sighs watching his daughter disappear into the living room of the house. "Well, first cute boy she meets, she'll forget about Jersey". Carolyn reassured her husband.
"I hope so". Roger watches Carolyn walk into the house, he looks at Sadie sitting on the porch. "Come on". Roger waves his dog to go into the house.
Sadie didn't budge, she stayed put on the porch. Roger grabs her collar trying to pull her in but Sadie pulled back staying outside.
"Alright suit yourself." Roger heads into the house.

Carolyn opened a box finding a radio, she put it on the kitchen counter turning it on and tuning it and moving the antenna until a song by The Zombies come through.
The movers were in and out of the house moving the Perron family's boxes into the home.
Nancy grabbed a box from the car heading into the house after the movers.
"Nancy!, Andrea says you have my wind chimes". Cindy called out as she came down the stairs. Nancy pulled out the wind chimes from the box in her hands taughting her sister.
She held them high as Cindy jumped for them. "Give them to me!". Cindy huffed in frustration, she kicked her sister in the shin making Nancy drop the chimes into Cindy's hands.
Cindy giggled running to find a place to hang them. "You're so mean!". Nancy yelled after her as she gripped her shin.
"Hey, mom, can I hang my wind chimes." Cindy asks. "Oh, sure, there's a line out back on the porch you can hang them and honey, make April come in it's going to get dark soon".
Cindy nods her head walking to the back door out to the porch finding the line her mom said where it was. She looked out to where the lake was in their backyard seeing her little sister April sitting under the tree near the lake.
"Come on, April, mom wants us inside!". Cindy shouts loud enough for her sister to hear.
The blonde little girl looks up hearing her sister. "Hey, Cindy, look what I found!". April calls back. The little girl had a wind up toy in her hands, it looked like a circus tent and when you open it and turn the key. The mirror inside it turns making the white swirl on the mirror go in circles.
