"Come on, Pit. I'm pulling you back." Viridi, the Goddess of Nature said calmly and changed the flight path back to her domain. The young angel sighed and looked down at Skyworld for the last time in a while. Viridi, looking down on him from her home couldn't help but feel pity for Pit. On the flight back Pit didn't speak a word. "Pit, we are going to save lady Palutena. You know you can do it. Where's your annoying, bratty upbeat self today?"
"Lady Palutena... That can't be her... It just can't be! Palutena would never turn away from the humans! But... There she was, saying that she was tired of the humans ungratefulness, and tired of... Me," the angel said.
"Who can blame her?" Viridi asked teasingly. And that sent Pit over the edge. His eyes brimmed with tears. "Oh crud... Pit don't cry! I meant it as a joke! A joke! You're meant to laugh not cry! You're nearly here, I'll come meet you at the doors."

Two minutes later Pit landed at the front doors and looked up to see the Goddess of Nature before him. Compared to the spectral image he saw of her when the first reset bomb went off, she looked much younger. Looking at her for the first time certainly was a surprise. He thought he would never meet her. Her long blonde hair tied up in a ponytail with a thorny twig, her grassy green eyes her barely defined nose and mouth smirking, a dress made of what looks like differently coloured leaves lined with winding tree branches and a lavender rose as a centrepiece. She smirked. "If you must behold my godly looks, have the nerves to compliment me,"
"You look awesome," Pit said, not really meant as a compliment, more to shut her up.
"You can be so childish, you know that? Now get in here. We have to discuss our plans," Viridi said and allowed Pit to enter. He walked in with his bow in his hand. While Pit wasn't looking, Viridi was looking at Pit. His scruffy brown hair, his blue eyes, that should have been full of wonder, his headpiece and his attire, a basic robe held with a belt and arm bracers. What she was impressed about though were his wings. He was clumsy, always taking enemies head on and taking damage, yet his wings looked so pristine and white. Perfectly matching for an angel. "Guess I better give you a tour, huh? Oh right in front of you is where you'll set off, to your left is a practice room, so you can test that piece of junk," she explained and gestured to his bow, which was chipped and scratched and cracked. "To your right is where you can change gear, fuse, buy, and convert weapons to hearts. There's a room in there, do not enter it unless I give you my say so, okay? Also, up one floor is a hit spring, which I seriously recommend, and two floors is my place, meet me up there when you're ready."
Pit nodded and threw his overused bow into the gear room, carelessly and as it landed on the floor, snapped into three pieces. He looked over at it and stared. "Well now what am I gonna do?" He mumbled.
"Do you not listen? Go buy some gear! Or you might have found some along the way! Gods... Not even a rainforest is as dense as you!" Viridi shouted. Although she was frustrated with Pit at the moment, she could feel somewhat understanding of him. She sighed, "Pit... I get you're upset, mad even that Palutena has just destroyed everything you knew and loved. But acting all depressed isn't gonna help! Now get your butt in gear and choose a weapon, and meet me up on the second floor!" She finished and turned and walked up the stairs to wait.

She had gotten through to Pit, he had chosen another weapon, some stealth claws. Left them at the side of the gear room to get later and walked up to the first floor, and his face lit up. Right in front of him was the largest hot spring he had ever seen. It contested even Lady Palutena's! He stepped in and laid down, his head just above the water and sighed in content. He hadn't been able to relax like this for three years apparently, and he soaked it in. He then reached over and shut the door and fell asleep.

Viridi had been waiting for over an hour for Pit. "How long does it take to choose a weapon for him?" She said to herself. She walked downstairs and was about to past the first floor when she noticed the door was closed instead of open. "Oh do not tell me..." She mumbled and knocked on the door. "Pit?" She asked quietly. "Piiiiit...." She said a little louder and a bit more hostility. "PIT!" She yelled. From the other side she heard a splash, then coughing and spluttering.
"Wh-what? I was sleeping..." He said as he opened the door.
"Oh I am soooo sorry princess! I was just trying to, you know.... HELP YOU SAVE PALUTENA!" She exclaimed.
Viridi groaned. Pit shook the water out of his hair and accidentally onto Viridi. He grinned. "S-sorry, Viridi, but you needed a bath of some sort!" He said before laughing.
"Oh yeah, real mature, Armpit." Viridi spat back.
Pit faced Viridi and sighed. "I'm sorry, let's just try to... No. Let's save Palutena."
"If you want to rest up its fine I guess. You did just kinda switch between a girl, a pfft.... Dog, ha! And that big brute guy," Viridi smiled. "So... What do you think of it here?"
"It's great. It feels a lot more... Well, natural." The young angel said. "Can I change goddesses?"
"Well if you're gonna go practice with your little toys, I'm going to go take a dip. I need a little refreshing," the goddess said before walking into the hot spring and shutting the door. As she dipped in she smiled to herself. "He is right.... It does save on laundry..." She sighed and fell asleep in the golden healing waters.

Pit walked down the stairs again and picked up the Stealth Claws. "I guess I should practice.... It's not like I have anything else to do," he spoke to himself. He put them on, scratching himself on the blades. "No wonder they're called stealth claws, I can barely see the blades," he mumbled and walked to the practiced with them, after a few hours he got a good idea on them and smiled. "All right! Now I can go save Palutena!" He yelled.

The yell awoke Viridi and she got up sighing. "How is he so excitable all the time? He's like a puppy! Annoying but just so admirable how anything can wash off him," She ranted with herself and stepped out and down the stairs to Pit. "What's got you all excited?" She asks.
Pit turned to see Viridi looking at him. "Oh. I've just been training with these!" He exclaimed and held his hands up holding the Stealth claws.
"Handles...?" Viridi says curiosly and reaches her hand out to touch them
"Claws. Stealth claws, the blades are almost in-.... Visible...." Pit mumbled the last part as Viridi threw her hand back wincing.
"Ugh! Fine, use them to save Palutena, see if I care what you use, now can we finally talk strategy on what we're planning to do?" The nature goddess spoke with poison in her tone. Pit nods and he holds his hand out to Viridi, "A goddess should be escorted to wherever she goes."
"In your dreams, dweeb. I'm not falling for the same trick twice, and as if I would ever want to touch you!" Viridi smirked and started to walk up the stairs, with Pit short behind.
