CHAPTER FIVE
༻✧༺THE MORNING I WOKE UP in the Cameron's backyard was the moment I thought this would definetly become the most odd and unexpected place I'd ever wake up in.
Then of course, just two days later, I wake up in a filled up bathtub with yesterdays outfit, bubbles covering the surface of the water
I jolt up in the tub, waves of water splashing all over the place, including the floor. I must've woken up by the way the lower half of my face was completely submerged in the cold water, making it impossible for me to breath—therefore, snapping me out of the deep daze of sleep.
I repositioned myself to stand on my knees in the tub, leaning forward to hold onto the edge. A frown etched its way onto my face as my gaze scanned the tiled floor.
Lots of clothing were spread all over the floor, as well as a few pairs of sunglasses, hats, jewlery and makeup. What on Earth did I do last night?
As carefully as possible, I tried to pull myself up, successfully crawling my way over—only to lose my grip on the edge since my hands were wet. I landed on the cold floor with a hard thud, a low groan of pain and regret escaping through my chapped lips.
The sound of a shower being on grabbed my attenion, something I didn't hear or notice when I was still in the tub. I didn't need to wonder for long as my gaze immediately landed on Rafe, sitting in the corner of the shower with his back against the wall, still fully clothed as well.
"Rafe..?" I mumbled, my eyesight still a bit hazy from when I first woke up. Feeling too numb in my body to stand up and walk over to the unconcious boy—I dragged myself over, one arm in front of the other.
When I finally reached him I grabbed a fist full if his soaked shirt, pulling it back and forth in attempt to wake him up. "Rafe." I mumbled once more, my head feeling too heavy to hold up as I rested it on his lap, his pants completely soaked as well.
His eyes slowly fluttered open, a confused expression on his face as he blinked sway the tiredness and looked around the room—including down, spotting me and my head on his lap.
"(y/n)?" He murmured in his morning voice, his hand moving to my face to slide back the wet hair that was stuck to my cold skin, covering the visible half of my face.
"What the hell did Barry sell you?" I asked with a sigh, my brows furrowed as my gaze locked with his.
"I don't know," he mumbled, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, "I gave him fifty dollars and told him to give me whatever it was worth." He finished, lowering his hand back down to rest it on my back.
