You know you're on my mind? And if the world don't break I'll be shaking it 'Cause I'm a young man after all

Everything from last night is a blur. The only thing I remember is going clubbing and getting drunk.

As I woke up, I let out a soft groan. On the left side of the bed was a blonde girl—the other thing I remember from last night. I had a one-night stand, and being an F1 driver, that was easy to come by.

I wasn't the relationship type. I had only been in one; after that, I didn't see the point of being in one anymore. When I had eyes for a girl, I was always too afraid to make a move.

The blonde woke up. "Morning, Lando," she said with a huge smile. Shit, what was her name again? Julie, Angelina, or Mia? "Last night was amazing," she said and hugged me.

I flinched when she hugged me. "I'm just hugging you, calm down," she said, annoyed.

I sat up, and she came from behind and started kissing me. Normally, I kind of liked that, but now it pissed me off. "Can you please get off me?" I asked politely.

I turned around to look at her, and she didn't look happy. She gave me an angry look and huffed. "Baby, what's with you? Yesterday, you begged me to fuck you, and now you don't even want me to touch you?" she said.

I sighed. "Can you please just go?" She stood up, gathered her clothes, and was pissed at me. "You'll regret this. You'll never find someone better than me, asshole," she said, putting on her clothes before storming out.

I groaned and threw myself back onto the bed. Why was it so hard to find a girl? I knew the answer: it was Bridget. I still didn't understand why I got so shy around her and couldn't use my usual charm like I did with other girls.

The weather outside was fine, so I decided to go for a jog. I needed to burn off the calories from the alcohol last night. I changed into jogging pants and a sweater, grabbed my trainers and headphones, and started jogging.

Monaco was small but beautiful. Sometimes it could get boring, especially in the winter. In the summer, there were more parties, but during this time of year, I had a few races.

The weather was chilly as I jogged around the city when a little boy came up to me. I took my headphones out and kneeled to him. "Uhmm, hello Mr. Norris, I'm a huge fan of yours." I chuckled a bit when he called me Mr. Norris—it melted my heart a little.

"You can call me Lando, I'm not that old. What's your name?" I asked him. He had big blue eyes and looked a bit shy. "I'm Finn," he said.

"Finn, that's a cool name," I said, and he smiled. His parents were nearby. "Uhmm, can I take a picture with you?" he asked. I nodded and hugged him. Normally, I didn't like hugging strangers, but he was too cute to pass up.

His mother took a picture and thanked me. "Give me a high five, buddy," I said, and he did. After saying goodbye, I continued my jog.

After an hour and a half, I was finally done and headed back home. I took a shower, put on something more comfortable, and sat on the couch for a bit. As I scrolled through my phone, I saw people already talking about my latest hookup.
