Across a screen, in the quiet of the night,
I never saw your eyes,
But I felt the weight of your silence,
And the warmth of a laugh we shared in time.
You were a flicker in my world,
A stranger who felt so close,
Yet distant, like the stars—
So far, I could never reach.
I dreamt of meeting you,
But dreams, they slip through fingers
Like whispers lost in the wind.
Now you're a ghost in my thoughts,
A name buried deep in forgotten chats.
We were nothing,
And yet, something lingered,
A hope, a wish,
That somewhere, in some other life,
We might have shared more
Than just moments in the dark.
But you were never mine to hold,
And I was just a shadow
