'I was a kid, but I wasn't clueless'

-Conan Gray, Family Line

Oliver sat at his table in Hogwarts. He has been at the magical school for a week and a half now and was very settled. Owls flew into the Great Hall, it was common to Oliver now, at first, he screamed, causing the whole Hall to burst out into laughter. Luckily, he wasn't the only one, some girl across him did too. She was a muggle born. The Black Family would never approve. The thought crossed his mind, but he wasn't Black. They didn't exist anymore. He was Oliver, and it was just a story. His Owl dropped a letter in front of him, the first letter he had gotten. He read the return address, 12 Grimmauld Place. Father wrote.

Oliver stared at the page, waiting a minute before looking at the next pieces of parchment containing the next part of the story, he had waited ages for, ready to find out what came next.

─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──

The morning started normally, the two brothers were up at six in the morning rushing downstairs before their mother locked up the kitchen. It had been a rule since the young Black brothers could remember: Eat before seven or don't eat till the next meal. Regulus kept this rule serious and always tried to wake his older brother ensuring he ate. Regulus didn't like grumpy Sirius, he wasn't fun when he was grumpy. Sirius however would rather sleep if he could, missing one meal didn't mean as much to him. But this morning Sirius came down earlier to put a pause to Regulus' pestering. He ate quickly, leaving the dishes for the house elf, Kreacher. Regulus, however, ate slower, and he went to the sink in the kitchen, getting on the tips of his toes to try and reach it.

"Sirius, help!" the little boy shouts, jumping now to reach the towering sink. Sirius rolls his eyes, "Reggie Kreacher will do it,"

"But I wanna help Kweacher!" Regulus is whining now, and Sirius doesn't want him in trouble for it, so he grabs Regulus from under his shoulders and lifts the younger boy to the basin in the sink, in which Regulus discards his breakfast dishes, before setting him back down on the kitchen ground.
