Caelus Vance
I followed them to an archway. "Temple of Athena Nike, Athens, Greece," Julia spoke very clearly, and then she took my hand, and we all walked through. We went up some stairs like the ones from the temple of Hera, and when we emerged at the top, we came out of the Temple of Athena Nike. A temple was made to honour the patron gods of Athens, Goddess Athena and Goddess Nike.
We all decided to walk into town as there would be a better chance of finding them. "Don't worry if you struggle. You can train as much as you need to back at base. Try your best here, and we'll take the pressure off you this round." Julia's smile was warm and understanding, like a ray of sunshine.
After spending about 2 hours in Athens, I felt eyes on me, so I looked around and made eye contact with a girl. She looked our age, and as soon as she realised I was looking at her, she ran. "Guys, that girl just ran."
"Then follow her," Aaron said whilst walking in her direction.
"You're not gonna get anywhere at that speed, Aaron." Mary began running through the crowd, and Julia followed shortly afterwards. I ran after them, trying to find the girl. Her auburn hair should've been easy to spot with its reddish glow.
A shiver went up my spine as I continued to run through the crowd. Call upon a storm, my boy. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to do that, but I thought about a rainstorm forming and surprisingly, one did. People began to scatter and hide under shelters, making it easier for them to run through.
In the corner of my eye, I spotted a girl with auburn hair running towards a main street. "If she gets to the main street, we won't be able to find her!" I hoped one of them had a plan, and luckily enough, Aaron took off his bracelet, which expanded and straightened like my chain but into a pure black bident.
He smacked it on the floor, and a gap opened in front of the main street. Skeletons with full Greek armour rose from the ground and formed a long barrier across the street. "I can't hold them for long!"
"Caelus!" I looked at Julia as she called my name, only to see her with a crown on her head. "On three, we summon enough lightning and thunder to scare her into stopping! Mary, get ready to grab her!" I took off my chain, and the thunderbolt appeared. Julia counted, and on three, we both summoned lightning and thunder to fall right in front of her, blocking her path. I was slightly nervous that I would accidentally hit her, but thank the gods, I didn't.
Mary jumped and pinned the girl down so she couldn't run any further, and Aaron lowered his skeleton army. We all returned our artefacts to their disguised state and walked over to Mary and the girl.
"Get off of me!" The girl was struggling and trying to fight her way out of Mary's grip.
"If you move anymore, I will break your arm."
"Mary, that is not necessary." Julia seemed so calm and collected after that foot chase. "State your name."
"You people are crazy!" She shouted and still tried to wiggle out from Mary's arms.
"Let's try this again. I'm Julia, this is Mary, Aaron and Caelus. Now, what is your name?"
"Caelus?" She looked at me and muttered, "C.V." I looked at Julia, and she seemed worried, so she slipped off her ring, returned her crown to her head and snapped her finger.
Before I knew it, we had appeared at the underground base. "You may release her now, Mary." Julia slipped her ring back on her right middle finger and looked at the girl. "Who are you? Why are you in Athens?" The girl didn't speak, so Julia nodded at Aaron. He picked up a sword, a real sword, and placed the point under the girl's chin.
