You sat on the bus with your eyes closed. The quiet chatter of other passengers faded away, leaving you alone in thought. The usual question came into your mind once again.
Why couldn't you remember your past?
It always bothered you. Even though family and friends told you numerous stories and showed you your family's scrapbook, you couldn't remember a single thing from before you woke up on your front lawn at the end of last summer.
You didn't even recognize your own name. Come to think of it, what was it again?
Right. Y/N. It didn't feel right though, and neither did you. You felt out of place everywhere, no one seeing you as normal. That's why you were on this trip across America, you wanted somewhere to belong.
This trip led you to take a bus heading to a backwater town called 'Gravity Falls'. Sounded normal enough, so most likely you'd be the weirdo here too.
