So lets get one thing straight I suck at being social. Unless i'm comfortable shit don't work out.

A string of cusses left my lips as I nervously carried the clipboard containing the seating chart and VIP names. My hands fidgeted with my clothes and fiddled through the pages. I remembered what Cameron had told me.

"Hey Dee listen up. Keep your head held high. Breathe. Talk clearly with that preciously loud and obnoxious" I lightly punched his arm to which he laughed "I meant to say beautifully loud, velvety smooth voice of yours. You are a natural born leader and as long as you act like you're confident and in charge they'll think you are. Now go get 'em tiger an don't get fired. I need you and so do the girls. You've got that magic touch." He'd said waggling his eyebrows suggestively.

I hit the door to the room that held the VIPs and stopped. Taking in a deep breath I smiled and pulled open the heavy doors. All eyes turned to me, questioning and curious gazes alike met my own and for a second my smile faltered. 'You can do this Dani. Just stay calm.' I reassured myself as I stepped into the room. "Hello everyone. If you would follow me i'd be delighted to show you to where you'll be sitting tonight." I said as I tried to move my gaze to multiple people making sure everyone understood. I turned around and started walking out the door peaking behind me to see if anyone wasn't following or if anyone was behind me at all. To my surprise everyone had followed chatting casually as they walked.

As we walked into the open space that held the stage I started pointing out different chairs and seats that each person where supposed to sit in and I couldn't have been more relieved to see that the seating chart had pictures of each person as well as names. I tried to stay as professional as possible as I did this. Scared that I would screw up in some fashion and get fired.

Everything seemed to be going well until I tripped. Not over a chair or even someones foot or something that just came out of nowhere but my own foot. Who does that? Who trips over her own two feet? I felt a squeak of a scream slip past my lips and I closed my eyes, waiting to feel the pain of my body hitting the floor. But after a moment, when I felt no pain I opened my eyes and noticed the man that was holding me up.

His eyes shone in concern but I couldn't help but stare (just for a moment) at his eyes alone. Shining a bright grey they were absolutely mesmerizing. It wasn't until his brow furrowed in worry that I noticed that he was trying to talk to me.

"Are you okay Miss? You're not hurt are you?" He questioned (probably for the second time cause I was too busy staring at him like a creeper) still holding me in his arms and it was now that I started to realize my predicament and how embarrassed I should be. He finally set me upright and smiled at me before looking at the group that stood there waiting. "Guess you can say you fell for me now." That got a few smiles and giggles but there were a few women who just glared at me. It's not like I meant to make a complete fool out of myself.

I quickly righted myself ignoring his curious glances to me as I continued my new "job". It was just my luck that he happened to be the last one on my list, sitting first row straight in the middle.

"Here is your seat Mr. King. " my own voice sounded small which was quite the opposite of how much confidence I had started with but now my cheeks were stained red and it seemed that my gaze wouldn't leave the floor.

I heard him sigh as he walked past me and I looked up to make sure he was in the right seat and was surprised to see him still watching me, a small smirk on his lips. "Thank you Miss. I didnt mean to embarass you if that is why you've quieted down so much. That wasn't my goal." There was something about those words that made me happy (or maybe it was the way his smirk melted into a small sympathetic smile) but it was an odd thing to say to a stranger.

"I'm fine, Mr. King. I hope you enjoy your night and the show. If you do not mind I have other things to attend to." 'Like changing the models makeup with every new look' I thought to myself. I felt content as he gave a slight nod, eyes still watching me curiously an amused smirk on his lips. With that I walked away, head held high not knowing of how our paths would continue to cross.
