Chapter 8: A moment of peace ( more or less)

Mee Lee and Serena were running through the corridors of the hospital. Both of them received a message from Yumeko saying that it was an emergency. As they opened the door and were panting, Yumeko looked at them

Mee Lee wipes some sweats. "What's the problem ??"

Yumeko slowly raises Uno's cards while staring at them

Serena who was already out of breath let her head fall, her hand on her chest "For God sake Yume...."

Mee Lee pinches the bridge of his nose. "We need to review your definition of "emergency" " he says before sighing

Yumeko look at them. "Game ?"

Serena got back her breath and stood up "Yep!"

Mee Lee stares at her, before rolling his eyes. "Fine..."

She ran next to Yumeko as she sat next to her

Yumeko glances back at Yasha "See, told you they'll come"

Yasha shook his head "You're crazy"

Yumeko pokes his cheeks before raising a brow to Mee Lee, that was still standing there

Serena looked back at Mee Lee

Mee Lee rolls his eyes before slapping his cheeks slightly. "Nevermind" he says before sitting next to Serena

Serena chuckled as she took the uno cards from Yumeko "Gimme!"

Yumeko equally distributes the cards to everyone before putting a card. A six red. "We'll do it from youngest to oldest. Sooo" she looks at everyone

She looked at Yumeko and then to Mee

"Well I'm 16 duh" said Serena

"16 as well" said Mee Lee while arranging his cards in his hands

"Uhhhh.... looks like everyone is 16 here huh..."

Yasha smirked but kept quiet. He sighed "well why not doing it with birthdays?"

"29th of October" quickly said Mee Lee, looking at everything but Yasha

"25 september" said Serena as she raised her hand and looked at the others

"11th of February" says Yumeko before glancing at Yasha

"21 may, so it's Mee Lee's turn" He said as he looked away from Mee Lee to his cards

Mee Lee sighs before drawing a 9 red card

Serena checked her cards and pulled out a 9 red card as she put on the other card. She hid her cards under her chin as she exclaimed "Your turn Yasha"

Yasha glanced at Yumeko "Go ahead"

Yumeko searched through her cards before putting a blocking red card. "Sorry not sorry"

He slightly smiled and hid his card as he watched the next one playing

Mee Lee holds a chuckle before drawing a 2 red card. "Serena"

Serena pulled out a reversed red card "Hehe, your run Mee"

Mee Lee looked between his cards and he hid a smile. "Nah, saving this for later" he placed a change color card. "Green"

Yasha checked his cards and put a 9 green card

Yumeko scratches her face "Hmm" she put a 9 yellow card

Serena sighed "UGH" She took another card and sighed "pass"

Mee Lee grins before putting a +2 yellow card
