The Chauhan household was abuzz with excitement as they prepared for Anil's big day.  while their father vimarsh, was ensuring everything was perfect.
Neer, meanwhile, was in her room, putting the final touches on her outfit.
Making sure everything is perfect as they left for the engagement venue

-------------------------------------

The Raghuvanshi household was bustling with activity as they prepared to attend the engagement of Minister son, Advait, who was also Advay's best friend.

Advay,  was in his room, getting ready for the ceremony. He was looking forward to celebrating his friend's special day
As he descended the stairs, his father, Mr. Raghuvanshi, reminded him to be on his best behavior, as many important people would be attending the wedding. Advay nodded
As they left the house reaching the venue

ADVAY'S POV

I and  Anil continued talking, my gaze drifted towards the front door. That's when I saw
A girl walked into the room, and my heart skipped a beat. She was wearing a lavender lehenga that seemed to shimmer in the light,

her dark hair cascading down her back like a waterfall. Her laughter echoed through the room as she chatted with her cousin, and I felt like I was drowning in the depths of her eyes.

Time seemed to stand still as my gaze locked onto hers. I forgot about Anil,  forgot about everything except the girl walking towards me, her eyes shining like stars in the night sky.

I couldn't look away. Her hair flew ever so slowly around her face, like a slow-motion dance, and I felt like I was losing myself in the sparkle of her smile.

What was wrong with me? I wondered.why was I feeling like this? Was it the way she laughed like her whole heart was in it?or the way her eyes sparkles like diamond in the lights? Or was it something more?

As anil noticed my gaze
He said
" Come I'll introduce you to my sister"

I followed Anil as he navigated through the crowd, nodding at familiar faces. We stopped in front of a girl with long, dark hair and expressive brown eyes. Advait gestured to her with a smile.

"Advay, this is my sister Neer. Neer, this is Advay, my best friend "

Neer barely looked up, her expression neutral. "Hi," she said curtly, not even extending her hand. I felt a slight pang in my chest, a sensation I couldn't quite explain.

"Hi," I replied, trying to sound friendly. But Neer didn't even pause, already turning away.

"Excuse me, I need to get going," she said, not even looking back. I watched her go, feeling a strange sense of disappointment. It was as if I had been hoping for something more, but I didn't know what.

I pushed the thought aside, focusing on the conversation with Anil. But my eyes kept drifting back to Neer, who was now laughing and joking with her friends across the room. I wondered what it was about her that had affected me so deeply.

As we stood there, Anil's family started calling out to him. "Anil, beta, it's time! The bride is about to arrive!"

Anil nodded and turned to me. "I have to go, Advay."

I nodded, and Anil made his way towards the stage. His family members started adjusting his attire, making sure everything was perfect.

I stood there, unsure of what to do next. But then I saw Neer, standing off to the side, looking stunning in her outfit. She was fidgeting with the ring pillow, her eyes fixed on the floor.

The music changed, and the bride started walking in. Everyone stood up, and I followed suit. My eyes scanned the crowd, searching for Neer.

And then, I saw her. She walked out confidently, the ring pillow held gracefully in her hands. Our eyes met for a brief moment, and I felt my heart skip a beat.

I couldn't look away, even as the bride reached the stage and the ceremony began. My eyes kept drifting back to Neer, who was standing off to the side, her eyes fixed on the floor. I was captivated by her presence, and I couldn't explain why.

As the evening wore on, Neer's family gathered around her,  "Neer, beta, come I'll introduce you to raghuwanshis"  her mother said,

Neer nodded, her family led her to the center of the room. The royals, resplendent in their finery, turned to face her.

"Raja sa,this is our daughter Neer," her father announced, bowing slightly.

Neer curtsied, her eyes locked on the royal couple. "It's an honor to meet you," she said, her voice clear and confident.

The royals smiled, exchanging pleasantries with Neer's family
As Vikram spoke " come on vimarsh cut the crap call me Vikram for now"
As the introduction came to an end, the engagement ceremony drew to a close. Guests began to file out, congratulating the happy couple.

As the Chauhans prepared to leave, vikram approached them. " Vimarsh, we'd like to invite you and your family to dinner at our place tomorrow evening.

Vimarsh smiled, nodding. "We'd be delighted, vikram. Thank you for the invitation."

Advay, standing behind his father, caught Neer's eye. For a moment, they just looked at each other, a spark of connection between them

As they exited the venue, Advay couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. Tomorrow, he'd see Neer again. And maybe, just maybe, he'd get to know her better.
