Advay's phone buzzed with an incoming text from Advait.

Anil: "Dude, I just saw the funniest meme! 🤣"

Advay: you should sleep.

Anil: "Nah, I'm good. Just can't stop thinking about tomorrow's dinner"

Advay: sleep we will meet tomorrow anyways

Anil: "Yeah, and you know.. Neer's not joining us tomorrow"

Advay's heart sank. "What? Why not?"

Anil: "Something about clothes. Don't know, didn't ask"

Advay's disappointment was palpable. "Oh, okay. No big deal"

Anil: you okay? You seem off"

Advay: "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired.

Anil: "Alright, night!"

Advay's eyes lingered on the screen, his mind racing with thoughts of Neer not joining them tomorrow. He felt a pang of disappointment, realizing he had been looking forward to seeing her again. With a sigh, he put his phone aside and tried to sleep, but his mind wouldn't shut off.

Advay tossed and turned in bed, his mind still racing with thoughts of Neer not joining them for dinner. He couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment that had settled in his chest.

As the hours passed, he finally drifted off to sleep, only to wake up to the sound of his family bustling around the house, preparing for the dinner party.

Advay got out of bed and began to get ready, but as he was about to head downstairs, he stopped himself.

"Why bother?" he thought. "Neer's not coming. It's not like it matters anymore."

He turned around and walked back to his room, flopping down on his bed. "I'll just stay here and work," he told himself. "No point in joining the dinner now."

Advay opened his laptop and began to type away, trying to distract himself from the disappointment that lingered in his heart. But his mind kept wandering back to Neer, and he couldn't help but wonder what she was doing at that moment.
The Raghuvanshi household was abuzz with activity as they prepared to welcome the Chauhans for dinner. Advay's mother, Mrs. Raghuvanshi, was busy in the kitchen, overseeing the preparation of a lavish meal. The aroma of exotic spices and roasted vegetables wafted through the air, making everyone's stomach growl with anticipation.

Meanwhile, Advay was in his room, oblivious to the hustle and bustle. He was seated at his desk, laptop open, typing away on a report that was due soon. He had been instructed to take the day off from work, but he couldn't resist the urge to stay productive.

As the sound of laughter and chatter drifted up from downstairs, Advay didn't flinch. He was too engrossed in his work,

As the evening sun cast a warm orange glow over the city, Advay decided to take a break from work and step out onto the balcony. He breathed in the fresh air, feeling the gentle breeze rustle his hair. He was shirtless, having changed into comfortable clothes after a long day.

Just as he was starting to relax, he heard the sound of cars pulling up outside. He glanced down to see the Chauhan family arriving for dinner.

Advay's eyes scanned the group, and his gaze landed on Neer. Their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Advay felt a jolt of electricity run through his body.
