Chapter 10: It's A Date!

As Bumblebee returns home, he sees Frian outside his house. Bumblebee transforms and walks up to him.

Bee: What are you doing here?!
Frian: I came to check up on you! To see if you're doing okay.
Bee: I'm okay, thanks for asking.

Bumblebee walks inside and as he is about to close the front door, Frian stops him.

Frian: Bee! I need to talk to you.
Bee: I told you, Frian. Leave me alone!
Frian: But, Bee!

Frian pushes the door and Bee backs up.

Frian: Look at you! Tired. Don't think that you can fool me into believing in your lies!
Bee: I don't need any help! Why can't you understand that!?
Frian: You need help, Bee! How long are you planning to be like this? Do you think that your problems will magically disappear if you ignore them!?

Bumblebee ignores him.

Frian: So this is how it is, huh? You're going to ignore me till all your problems are solved? Hah! If you continue like this, you might start ignoring everyone else, till when? Till forever, that's when!
Bee: My Primus, Frian! If I don't want to talk about something, then why do you keep on asking me about it!?
Frian: Because I care about you, Bee! You live alone! Sure, your dog might be keeping you company but you're not used to this! From what I heard, you have separation anxiety just like Sideswipe. You don't like this path of life. I am spawned in a way that I don't feel like I need to have someone living with me. I am happy with how I live while you aren't!... If your problem is about finding someone you love, then I understand-
Bee: STOP!!!!

Frian gets frightened.

Bee: No one understands about the problem I have, and no one ever will…
Frian:... Why do you think that no one will?
Bee:... It's because it's about… Storm…

Frian gets shocked.

Frian: Storm?… The guy that-
Bee: Yes, yes! That Storm! Primus, why does everyone keep on trying to go into details?!

Bumblebee grabs a glass cup and throws it at the wall.

Frian:... But, why are you thinking about him?
Bee: I don't know… I just, out of everything I could have been thinking about, I started to think about what would have happened if I hadn't freed myself…
Frian: Oh, Bee… You shouldn't be thinking about it.
Bee: I don't think I have a choice, Frian. I'm starting to get nightmares because of it.
Frian: Yeah but why continue thinking about it? You know what your friends told you, to ignore it and focus on something else.
Bee: I don't know, Frian! Maybe because I was about to end up like the other 3 bots in that basement!

Frian stays silent.

Bee: He never saw me as a lover, he only saw me as an experiment!... We should have never given anyone the idea to read and investigate life on Earth because scientists like Storm will misuse the power of their jobs.

Bumblebee stops for a few seconds.

Bee: If I tell anyone about what had happened to me, they'll see me as a joke. I mean, how can a mech like me get abused like that? Abused by someone who is from the same generation as when Strongarm and Sideswipe were spawned? A once scout now lieutenant, being romantically abused? Hah! I must be pathetic then…
Frian: No, y-you are not-
Bee: Yes, I am… Just. Leave, Frian…
Frian:... I'm sorry… I will leave you alone then. I might come back tomorrow.

Frian leaves his house and drives away. Bumblebee, after standing for a few seconds, goes upstairs. He enters his bedroom and lays on the bed, still tired. One hour later, Bumblebee wakes up to see that there are 2 hours left before his date starts. He gets up and goes to get something to eat. A small snack would do since Clovernight is planning to take him to dinner at a restaurant. He starts walking around the room, getting worried that something might go wrong on his date or that Sto- Clover will plan to do something else after the date ends. He sits down on the couch and waits, tapping his foot on the floor. He looks at the time and only 20 minutes have passed. He unlocks his phone and goes on Cybergram to see if Clover messaged him but he hasn't send anything else. He just has to wait till the date starts. After an hour and a half has passed, Bee gets prepared and exits his house. Bumblebee locks the door and transforms, driving away into the night. It's a 15-minute drive to the restaurant so he will be able to get there on time. As he arrives, he looks inside the restaurant but Clovernight is nowhere to be found. He decides to wait outside the restaurant till Clover shows up. 5 minutes pass and Clover shows up. He walks up to Bee and hugs him.
