Chapter 9: Haunting Past

Bumblebee is running through the streets, panicking and in fear. He enters an alleyway and prepares his gun. He is waiting for the thing that is chasing him. He stands still, waiting patiently. All of a sudden, something grabs Bee from behind and throws him to the ground. Bumblebee stands up and a fight begins. Bee is fighting with a mysterious shadowy bot. While he is fighting, he shows anger towards the bot. After a while, the bot hits Bumblebee and he falls to the ground. As Bee tries to stand up, the bot stops him. As it's holding Bee down on the ground, tightly on his servos, it approaches his face. Bumblebee looks around to see if he can grab anything. But before he can grab the knife he sees, the bot sees him and grabs the knife first. Bee looks at the bot and then gets stabbed in his servo. He screams in pain but the bot isn't done yet. It pulls the knife and stabs Bumblebee in one of his optics. It then twists the knife and pulls his optic out. Bumblebee opens his other optic and sees the bot eating the optic it pulled out. As Bee is traumatized, the bot comes closer to his face and says:- “You're weak, Lie-tenant. How big of a coward can you be for being afraid of someone like me?”. The bot then grabs the knife with both of its servos and raises it in the air.

???: This is all who you truly are, Bumblebee… A pathetic failure!

The bot then stabs Bumblebee in his chest where his Autobot insignia is placed. Bumblebee feels his spark break. He screams and stands up. After calming down, he looks around and everything is normal.

Bee: *sigh* It was just another nightmare.

Bumblebee calms down and tries to go back to sleep. But as he falls asleep, he has another dream. Bumblebee opens his eyes and sees himself locked up on a lab table. He looks around and sees 3 dead Cybertronians. After struggling to break free, the bot in his previous dream jumps on the lab table. The bot starts licking Bumblebee on the face and around the neck. Bee starts to feel uncomfortable. As the bot keeps on licking him, it starts pulling Bee's legs away from each other and positioning itself between them. Bumblebee starts to panic, his spark starts beating faster. The bot starts kissing Bee in the intake. Bee closes his eyes tight as he feels the bot touching him around his waist. He continues trying to free himself but then he feels something. As he opens his eyes, he sees the bot rubbing against him. Bumblebee began to rapidly move around trying to break free as he, being on Earth for years around humans, knows what the bot’s mind was up to. Seeing Bumblebee move around, the bot stops kissing him and gets mad. Without a warning, it quickly bites him on the neck and Bumblebee screams in pain. Bee then once again wakes up in fear. He is heavily breathing, looking all around him like he is still in a dream. Bumblebee begins to question why he keeps on having those terrible dreams. He can't go back to sleep as he might get another nightmare. In the morning, Bumblebee goes to work, feeling very tired. While he is walking, he feels paranoid… After he finishes his work, he sits down on a bench and takes a rest. As Frian approaches him, Bee gets alarmed.

Bee: Oh! It's just you...
Frian: Yeah, of course it's me. What was that reaction for?
Bee: Nothing Frian. I was focused on something and it was unexpected.

Frian sits next to him.

Frian: I might sound annoying but are you okay?... Are you sick again and are trying to hide it?
Bee: No, no. I am doing great! I'm not sick.

Without a warning, Bumblebee stands up, transforms and drives away.

Frian: Wha-? Bee!?

Frian transforms and follows Bee. As he is following him, Bumblebee keeps on telling him to stop and to leave him alone but Frian refuses. Bee makes a turn and enters the forest. They transform and he looks at Frian.

Bee: Why are you following me!?
Frian: I want to help you! You are not yourself these days! What happened? Please tell me...
Bee: Nothing happened, okay!? Just, go away…
