Pick at my skin!

The silence roared aloud despite there being three souls sharing company...  and I cried internally

god! what are they made of, how can be so static, so... what's the word — ah yeah !lifeless  .. disciplined, like what the hell? Is this even a family dinner, sitting and eating like robots,  now I feel bad for Hani... poor baby, eating silently like she's under some punishment, .... okay kook!  Can't bear the silence, it's killing my jolly!

"What a nice evening!" I chirped and So with an enthusiastic clap, I broke free of the silence,

bye-bye silence,  you're not welcome until it's my bedtime!

I gasped loudly,  expressing my disappointment when no one turned despite my very loud gesture,  then I caught from the periphery of my vision, Taehyung was finally paying attention. 

So when he arched his brow at me I mouthed "Why are we so quiet?"  He rolled his eyes and was back to his dinner,

hah! The devil, ignoring me always! What do you think of me? I'll  beat up in pulp,  you giant brainless devil —

I probably was scowling and cursing him mentally,  but was sure that my face was doing a futile job at keeping it all concealed cause when I looked up,  I was startled or more so pinned by his dark brown eyes... a dark deep whirling pool of mysteries and the more I looked at him the more I found something shifts in his eyes ...

anger? Disdain? Amusement? What! ... really  kook! Amusement  and that too in his eyes never in a million years !!

So when I couldn't calm my jittery nerve, I turned my focus to Hani, gracefully avoiding Taehyung and his Disdain-filled brown eyes!

"So Hani how was school?" I chirped merrily hoping to sustain the hesitation reflecting on my skin every second,

now I knew how the prey felt under its predator's gaze coz I could feel the terror under my skin as a fiercely gaze pinned me still on my seat—

Should I run... yeah I think I should this devil is probably planning to kill me with his sorcery power!

Before I could flee, " Why are you asking Hani this?" Hani baby voice bloomed and a puzzle settled within

huh .. what do you mean why? —

I braced myself and chirped merrily "Because I want to know, just like your mom and dad " I hoped now her confusion was settled but instead, she looked at me like m some crazy guy! "Mama never ask and Papa's never home for dinner"

What!! Okay, that's... um sad, does rich people life's are like this!

I tore my gaze away, I needed a moment, there were so many memories I reminisced from my childhood and the thought that she must have never witnessed them—
And then a sudden thought struck me, does Taehyung have gone through similar to her—

I turned and found his unwavering eyes on me, they were still blank, but I had this gut feeling that there was more to it.

Our severe eye contact was interrupted by a tug at my sleeve and I side along — "Do you really want to know how Hani's day went?" I nodded and an endearing smile broke out on her lips as she began to tell me about her day, her favourite subject ~ mathematics obviously, her only friend ~ her bunny soft toy, her favourite colour ~ lilac and so on—

now that I think, she isn't that much of devil she's more like an angel I guess but her uncle is totally a devil,  no one changing that!

So after we had dinner a proper dinner filled with giggles and laughter but if we ignored the statue, emotionless devil aka Taehyung then it was a lovely dinner.

Turned out Hanuel fell in love with me, and began to follow me everywhere,  occasionally blurting her life's updates, I had a hard time making her sleep, and by the time I was done tucking her In bed it had turned midnight and I groaned, tiredness seeped within —

I suddenly craved for a hot Nutella milk.

So here I was, savouring the few sips of my Nutella, this taste was heaven!  I was in the middle of my appraisal when heavy strong footsteps welled behind me and I stilled, I felt his strong overpowering ambience towering above mine, my fingers tightly curled around the mug —

When did come? Devil didn't made a sound.

A moment of pause .... until his deep Baritone tone whispered against my nape, "Never knew you had outstanding babysitting talent, was it perhaps your earlier job,  you didn't mention in your resume —"

  He's too close, I could almost smell his musky scent ... focus Kook!!!—

just when I hoped he finished his voice echoed again,  this time lower and somewhat a bit softer
  "You'd make a fine nanny Jungkook! Your brain's capacity matches theirs, perfectly! .... interesting you're really interesting!" And my world stilled—
oh my blue bunnies !!
his lips grazed the shell of my ear and a chill went down my spine,

fu*k did he just kis... no don't complete it! It was probably a mistake! Yup, a mistake!—

I was still startled by the earlier events when I felt his body heat disappearing until it was finally gone and I exhaled along,  a breath I didn't know I was holding!

What was that..? Didn't he come to take anything or did he come to complement.., wait.... it was a compliment or mockery,  he did call me a nanny,  that devil always ready to pick at me ..." hmph monkey " I muttered away before going back to my room.
