I chased the shadows of your love,
Blindly following, sent from above.
My world dimmed, lost in your light,
Until your truth revealed the dark of night.
Now, I see the folly of my ways,
The lessons learned from love’s fleeting gaze.
Self-worth rediscovered, I stand tall,
Embracing my worth, no longer to fall.
With every step, I claim my ground,
Leaving shadows behind, unbound.
My heart, once lost, now finds its voice,
Whispering truths, a wiser, stronger choice.
In this newfound light, I see the way,
To love myself, each passing day.
No longer chasing shadows’ fleeting gleam,
I bask in self-love’s radiant beam.
