The quietness of the Bhavnani house terrace was soothing, with the evening having long passed and the sky now wrapped in deep, tranquil darkness. The stars faintly shimmered overhead, casting a soft glow, but Angad's mind was elsewhere, lost in his thoughts. He stood still, gazing out into the vast night, when the soft click of sandals on the terrace broke the silence, pulling him from his reverie. He remained unmoved, yet his curiosity grew. Slowly, he turned, his eyes meeting Pallavi's graceful figure as she walked towards him. Her face lit up with a gentle smile, a silent greeting. She moved like a gentle breeze, carrying with her the warmth of a lingering summer evening, her hands tucked behind her, a secret cradled in her posture.

Angad stood frozen, as if his feet were anchored to the ground, unable to look anywhere but at her. Her eyes shimmered with the quiet brightness of stars, drawing him in like a moonlit tide, pulling him deeper into the silent ocean of her gaze. Each heartbeat echoed louder in his chest, yet the space between them was filled only with the soft hum of the night and the unspoken words that lingered in the air.

Pallavi noticed Angad's gaze fixed on her, a slight furrow formed between her brows, confusion touching her features. She came closer with a playful snap of her fingers in front of him, she tried to pull him back to reality. But Angad didn't flinch. His eyes stayed on her, unblinking, as if the world had narrowed down to just the two of them.

Angad:

(softly) You look so beautiful.

Her cheeks warmed, a flush of pink rising as she blushed at his words. aww look at that smiley.... ok ok i wouldn't interrupt now🤭 Without a word, he gently reached for her hand, lifting it to his face as if it were the most precious thing he had ever held.

Angad:

(Drews it closer to his nose, his eyes closing as he inhaled deeply) You even smell the same way she does. (Caresses her fingers)

The smile on Pallavi's face faded as Angad's words sank in, she withdrew her hand from his grasp.  The absence of her touch left a coldness in the air, and Angad felt the warmth slip away like a passing breeze. As she stepped away, her eyes no longer meeting his, the space between them suddenly felt vast. It was in that moment, with her retreating figure before him, that the fog in his mind lifted, and he comes back to reality.

Angad:

(Realizing what he was doing) Ohh, aa...aap hain(moves forward in her direction but she moves back, so he stays there)

Pallavi:

(With a forced smile) ji, wo.... umm... (Biting her lips) Actually, you left the dining table in hurry, i..i came looking for you, but you were not in the Mansion... (moves in his direction and stops) Where were you? House staff told me when you came here! (turning her eyes downwards) i....

Angad:

(With a big smile and twinkling eyes) Really, you care so much about me!

Pallavi:

(With a small smile) Haan... (turning to the end of the terrace looking at the sky) App hmare mehman jo hain, (looks at him) अतिथिः देवः अस्ति!

Angad:

(With a frown on his forehead, pointing at her with amuse in his voice) Appko Sanskrit atti hai?

Pallavi:

(Shaking her head again turns forward) Yes, it was an elective subject for me in school...... (After a small pause) Vaise app bhi kafi achi sanskrit bol lete hai (turns toward him) Umm, where are you really from, Angad?
