Chapter 8

Zera was typing in her lap at the office. But her mind was busy thinking about Amir. Yesterday she was okay. But now she is not okay. Amir marrying Aliya for six months is making her anxious. How she will pass these six months?  Only one week is pending for Amir's marriage. She can't accept that. Why his family is so cruel? She hate that family.

After the engagement,it's been one week. Amir's family is busy with buying clothes, calling relatives, arranging functions etc. But Amir is conflicted and depressed. He wanted to marry Zera. But due to his family,now he have to marry Aliya.
Today he have to meet Aliya. They didn't go for a date yet. His family and Aliya's family decided this date. He don't want this. But he can't escape. He didn't tell this to Zera . But he have to. Amir took his phone. Her name showed in his phone

He called  her.

Zera: Heyyyy.....
Amir: Helloo..... What are you doing? Are you in office?
Zera: Yaeee.... Are you in office?
Amir: No....
Zera: Why? It's the time already.
Amir: I am off today.
Zera: Why?
Amir: I'm going out.
Zera: Where?
Amir: with Aliya
Zera: What??????? Why ??? For what????
Amir: It's decided by our parents. I have to meet her at bluestar cafe at 1:30 pm.
Zera: You can skip that right?

Zera is getting angry. Amir can skip that. But he is ready to go.

Amir: Zera.... You know that I can't skip it. I have to go. Just meet her and then I'll come back.
Zera: Then I'll come there.
Amir: Zera..... Trust me. You don't have to. I'll deal it.
Zera: It's a date right.... I'll come there. She already know about me. Then what's wrong if I come there? I'll come.

Zera cut the call. She is frustrated. Amir can skip this date.Then Why he is going? No need to go there. She is jealous. She is his girlfriend. How can she be okay if Amir is going in a date with another woman. At this rate, Zera knows that She have to meet that girl and have to tell directly that he is her man. Before marriage, it have to be clear.

Aliya is getting ready for the date. Simply, she is not ready. She hate this marriage. But she have to do it. She wore her dress,a black frock which covers upto her ankle. She secured her hair with a butterfly clip. Aliya's father dropped her near the Bluestar cafe. She started looking to locate Amir.  She spotted a grey car and  saw Amir stepping out of the car. He is wearing a black suit and pants- some sort of formals . His eyes are searching for something. And those eyes spotted her eyes. Without seperating his eyes from her eyes, he came to her.

Amir spotted Aliya after he stepped out of the car. She is wearing a black dress. Actually she is looking at him. Those big eyes are locking with his eyes. Without seperating his eyes,he stood in front of him. There is an awkward silence engulfing them.

Aliya: Hmm.... Shall we .... Umm....get inside?
Amir: Yae
Both walked to a table which is reserved under their names. Amir sat on left side and Aliya on the right side.
Aliya: w....what we are gonna do now?
Amir: We can order some thing.
Aliya: Yae .....

A waiter approached them and by mistake some water fell down from the jug to Aliya's frock. It was cold water.

Waiter: I'm sorry mam..... Sorry
Aliya: ......It's okay.

Aliya is not okay. He dress material is light and after getting wet, she is not feeling comfortable.Aliya took some tissues and started wiping.

So many people are looking at their table. And Aliya is feeling uncomfortable by their stare. Amir saw that and without thinking anything he took off his coat and gave it to Aliya. Aliya watched him and just stared  at him
Amir: You can wear it, if you are uncomfortable.

Aliya reluctantly took his coat. She
started to wear the coat and now people started to go back to their activities. But a pair of eyes was watching this from the corner of the cafe.  Zera came there before five minutes. She saw the water falling on Aliya and Amir giving his coat. She felt the urge to slap Aliya . Zera started walking calmly with forcefully controlling her emotions.

Zera: Amir .......
