Chapter 15

Aliya was in deep thoughts when she heard the sound of the car from the porch. She understood that Amir came home. She was sitting in his room. She was busy with settling her things and somehow she fell into deep thoughts about  life.

It's past seven. Amir saw his mom and grandma in the living area .

Isha: Hey....  You are back. Go and freshen up. I'll give you food..

Grandma: Yaee .. Come fast Amir...

Amir started walking towards his room. Upon reaching his room,he saw Aliya sitting in the couch. She is busy with phone. He didn't mind her and began to take his clothes from the cupboard and went to washroom.

Aliya went to the hall and saw her mother in law and grandma talking with each other.

Isha: Heyyyy..... Where is Amir?

Aliya: He is bathing.

Isha: We can eat food after he came.

Aliya just nodded her head. Amir sat on the couch and then started to call Zera. But the call is not receiving.

Hey Zera
Why you are not taking my calls?
Are you mad at me ?
Zera. .....

Amir , I'm not in a good mood to think properly.
I'll call tomorrow.

Zera.....

Amir understood that she is mad and went to the hall . Then they all started eating the food.

Mr.Mehtha: Which place did you select for the trip?

Amir didn't say anything.  Aliya felt the awkwardness. Then she heard her mother in law speaking.

Isha: Actually I think Thailand will be nice or Maldives. Is it ok Aliya?

Aliya just nodded her head. Amir is not looking at others. He is eating his food.

Isha: Ok decide the place ,so that you guys can go by the next week.

After eating food,Amir went to his room fastly. Aliya was chitchatting with her mother in law and grandma. Aliya felt ,both are behaving very nicely to her. Slowly,the awkwardness she felt at the first is going away.

Aliya was going to enter the room. Then she felt it is locked. She knocked at the door. Soon after some minutes,he saw Amir opening the door irritatedly. She just passed besides him.

"You were planning the trip?" Amir asked Aliya in a tone of mocking.

Aliya didn't respond. She don't want to.

"Now you will not talk anything. You were busy talking with my mom and planning. Never gonna happen that trip"

"Who do you think you are ? What's your problem? Do I ask you to go for a trip? It's your family's plan. You were so silent at the table. You didn't even say no. And now you are saying that I planned the trip. You can't even say no to your parents and "

Aliya was cut by her words by Amir

"Stop right there. Otherwise it will not be good"

" What will you do? What?? Aliya is staring at Amir and both are frustrated.

Amir came straight to Aliya and trapped her near the wall. The reaction was so fast and Aliya was startled. They were so close to each other.

" Amir...move.." Aliya said irritatedly.

"If not,what will you do?

"I will hit you "

" Ok,let me see that"

"Amir .... move "

Aliya become frustrated and she just raised her hands and there was a knock at the door and Amir moved from there and went to the door.

Upon opening the door,both saw that Isha was standing there with a plate with sweets.

" Amir,Aliya..... Eat this..."

Isha handed the sweets to Amir. He saw Aliya smiling at his mom. After Isha left,both started staring each other.

Aliya came and took the plate from Amir.Amir just looked and asked:

" Huh... Are you gonna eat that full?

" If  I'm eating it full,what's your problem?

" I want that"

" Then take it."

Amir just took one. He is not fond of the sweets. Aliya went to the couch and started eating. She ate full.

It was the bedtime. When Aliya came after freshening,she saw Amir at the bed.

" I have to sleep" Aliya said

" So what?Go and sleep"

" Today it's my turn. So go to the couch"

" Huh? I will not"

" Amir,we decided it"

" Today I decided to sleep in the bed"

" Amir....move"

" No"

" If you are like this,I'm gonna call your mother,father and grandma and will say that you are making me sleep on floor"

Aliya just marched to the door and then began to open the door.

"You can sleep on bed today"

" Can't you accept that first?"

Aliya went to the bed and Amir to the couch. He wanted to yell. But his family is here and if she say that to his parents,they will surely believe her.

And one thing he felt was he just totally forgot about Zera. He planned to call her. He was so sleepy so that he just slept.
