Chapter 14

Next morning, Aliya woke up first and she looked at the other side and saw Amir sleeping peacefully. She did her morning routine and went to the living room. Amir's mom and grandma already prepared food and when they saw her,they asked her to call Amir for breakfast.

Aliya walked back to her room and looked at Amir.

"Heyyyyy..... Hellooooo..... Wake up"

No response. Aliya walked close to Amir and started calling him. He is not opening his eyes. She just hit his head with her hands. Then Amir was startled and just opened his eyes and saw Aliya standing close to him.

"What? Did you hit me?

"I called you so many times and you were not opening your eyes. So I just touched your head."

"Is this what you meant by touch?"

"Don't be over dramatic. Your mom is calling you for breakfast. If you want to eat anything,come then" Aliya said
walking back to the hall.

Amir groaned and went to washroom.
After ten minutes,he was back in the hall.Others already started eating.

Mr.Mehtha: Amir, This month,we will arrange a trip.

Amir: Trip??

Isha: Amir.. Aliya and you are newly married. So don't you guys need a honeymoon trip?

Isha laughed along with grandma. Amir become irritated. He wanted to yell,but he controlled his emotions.

Amir: I can't take any leave from work. You know that it's a tight time.

Grandma: No problem. Your father will manage it.

Aliya was watching them conversing with each other. Actually she can't say anything now, because it's awkward. If they ask her anything,she can. Otherwise she thinks silence is the best option.

Isha: Aliya,please select one place. Then we will setup the trip.

Aliya just nodded her head. Amir stood and started walking saying he is late for office.

Isha: Are you going to the office today, Amir?

Amir: Yae. I'm going.

Isha: Your marriage was yesterday. You can take two- three days leave.

Amir: No I'm leaving. I have lot of works pending.

Isha:But ....

Mr.Mehtha: Let him go. We will deal it.

After eating food,Aliya went upwards and sat in the couch. Then after some time Amir came dressed. Aliya looked at Amir and again started to do something in her phone.

Amir left the room. Isha was looking the way Amir going. Then she saw Aliya walking through the stairs.

Aliya turned to Isha when she heard her talking.

Isha: Aliyaa... What job did you do now?

Aliya: Actually,it was an online job and I stopped it before one month.

Isha: There is a vacancy in Amir's office. He needs a secretary. So I think it will be good if you want to work.

Aliya don't want to work with Amir. Because he knew that if they start working together,there will be chaos.
She just smiled artificially and go to her room.

Grandma: It's a good idea. If they are spending more time together,then it will make them to get along with each other.

Isha: That's why I told her that. We will make it happen.

Amir reached at the office. He had a lot of works pending. It's been one month his secretary post is vacant. He  have to conduct an interview and to select someone. Then he saw the message from Zera

Heyyyy
Did you reach office?
Call me if you are free.

Amir is not free now. So he messaged her that he will call her later. He have to arrange her post in his office so that she can join at the office by this week.

Aliya was resting at the bed. Yesterday she slept at the couch and it was really uncomfortable. She was thinking about what her mother -in- law told her. She wanted to work. Actually she was thinking to continue that online job. But it's so boring. So it will be good if she works at an office. But working together with Amir is a task. She don't want to. But why she have to bother about him. No need. So it will be better if she works there instead of that online job.

Amir was typing something. Then he got a call from Zera.

Zera: Hellooooo

Amir: Heyy helloo

Zera: What were you doing?

Amir: Lots of works are pending.

Zera: ohhh..  That's why you didn't call me? Whatever I don't think you didn't get a small break.

Amir: If I call you then,we can't talk  fully.

Zera: Ohh.. what about my job there?

Amir: It's ok. I had arranged it. You can join by Thursday.

Zera: Yae .. that's good. And what about her?

Amir: Who?

Zera: Aliya

Amir: She is at home.

Zera: Where did she sleep yesterday?

Amir: Zera..... Do you think that I slept with her in the same bed?

Zera: Amir,why can't you understand that I love you and you married someone and can't I ask this?

Amir: Zera... We already discussed it yesterday.

Zera: Fine.... Bye

Amir: Zera..

Zera cut the call. Amir didn't call her again. He thought that when he get his home,he will call her.He knows she is jealous and he will be too if he was in her place.
