Casey Novak X Reader Nighttime anxiety

A/N after the reader has a few days of bad sleep Casey becomes worried at just how much sleep her girlfriend is getting.

It was other busy day in the squad room and case after case and the team where back logged with paperwork. "Where Molly?" Asked fin "no idea" said munch and liv looked at Elliot who looked at her back, "Molly your Late" shouted the captain,

"Sorry" Molly said as she stumbled to her desk energy drink in hand and dark bags under her eyes.

"Molly you look like shit" said liv, "thank you" said Molly annoyed at her. When the team had to go an investigate a crime scene Molly offered to stay back and get on top of this paperwork which was fine but it confused everyone as they know Molly hates desk work.

Once the others came back they saw Molly a sleep at her desk that was littered with coffee cups on her desk and floor. And her hair was messy and had fallen out of her ponytail. "Molly hun" Olivia said as she while the girl causing her to jump awake. "Ahh what who where!" Said Molly.

"Oh hey guys how was it?" Molly asked as the others laughed as Olivia explained everything. "Who wants coffee?" Molly asked "don't you think you have had enough coffee today woman?" Said fin pointing at all the empty coffee cups. "Nope it keeps me going. Molly said as she walked to the coffee machine,

"Molly hun why don't we lay off the coffee and talk" Liv said gently and took the cup off Molly.

"About?" Asked Molly confused. "To be honest you look like shit and haven't slept in days!" Said fin.

"It's fine I'm fine I got half the paperwork done and you guys have been and looked at the crime scene let's find this guy and close this case." Said molly

Everyone looked worried as they watch the girl place the photos of the crime scene on the board. Worried she going to over work herself. "I'm calling Novak" said Elliot as he walked off to make the phone call.

Not long after Casey walked into the squad room "what we got?" she asked "take your pick, this case that is challenge or your sleep deprived girlfriend with a really bad caffeine addiction!" Fin said

As fin and Elliot and Casey stood there chatting they turned when they heard Liv shout "Shit!" And see molly passed out on the floor with a gash on her head. Casey ran to her and Olivia. "What happened" Casey asked worried sick about her lover. "Not sure call a bus" Olivia said.

Once at the hospital Olivia and Casey sat in the chairs in Molly's hospital room, Casey holding Molly's hand as molly slowly began to wake up.

"Molly it's ok you're alright" said Casey gently as molly was coming to so she wouldn't freak out, "what happened?"molly asked.

Casey looked at Olivia, "molly you fainted because you overworked yourself, haven't been sleeping or eating and you're body can't function on caffeine alone this isn't healthy" Olivia said as she looked at the girl.

"Why haven't you been sleeping my love" Casey asked as she continued to hold Molly's hand in hers.

"It's nothing" molly said Casey and Olivia didn't looked convinced molly let out a sigh

"ok so I suffer from really bad nightmares and nighttime anxiety, I usually have meds and my comfort blanket but I lost my comfort blanket some where in my apartment and haven't been able to sleep with out it and ran out of my meds but haven't had time to get them refilled and I get a shamed and I was worried that when you move in you wouldn't think I'm a brave bad ass detective. And my sleep issues were case because of my past." Molly was crying at this point.

Casey pulled molly into a hug and said "it's ok love I won't ever judge you for you, you are perfect in every way and everyone has there issues and struggles. And as soon as we get out of here, we going get your meds and find your comfort blanket and then you are going to be staying at mine for a while." And I spoke to my boss and the captain and you and I are going to take some time off." Casey said lovingly

Once molly was discharged Casey took molly back to her apartment after stopping to get her sleep meds, her and Casey looked everywhere for her blanket,

"Your apartment is a mess I will help you tidy that after you get back" Casey said as she pulled the couch forward to look behind it.

"I can't find it anywhere Casey" cried molly as she walked into her living room. "Is this it?" Casey asked holding an old baby blanket with a flower on it and Winnie the Pooh on it, molly face turned red with embarrassment and nodded.

Casey laughed at her lovers face " it's fine I think it's adorable and makes you even more cuter" Casey said giving molly a kiss on her head and after molly packed her things they headed over to Casey's apartment. After watching a tone of movies and shows it was time for bed Casey and molly snuggle down and before Casey turned out the lights she handed molly her meds and some water and watch her to make sure she took it. "There we go my love that wasn't so bad" Casey said giving her a kiss and pulled her close and smiled as she saw molly hugging her blanket and watch as she snuggled into Casey.

"Get some sleep my love I see you in the morning" Casey said as she turned the lights off and snuggled into her bed and held molly close to knowing that see was loved.
