A/N: I'm sorry, but I literally have zero romantic experience. I've never been on a date, and honestly, I like writing from Tanjiro's POV right now, so I'm kind of skipping the date.

Tanjiro POV

As I walked through the District with Inosuke and Zenitsu, who like me, were 'disguised' as young girls, my eyes fell on a particular woman with an oddly familiar man. That's when the scent hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew both scents, though the woman's had changed slightly.

The woman's hand was intertwined with the man's and when she turned her head to talk to him, I immediately recognized her face.

Kyoka.

Her smile was like the sun. Her scent was still as sweet as ever, but when she turned slightly, pointing at something, my eyes widened in disbelief.

She was pregnant.

Very pregnant at that.

"Is that...?" Zenitsu whispered to me.

"Yeah..." I muttered, still staring at Kyoka.

She looked back occasionally. Most likely due to the fact she caught onto my scent.

The note!

I had to find a way to give it to her!

When I tried picking up the pace, the horrid bloody scent hit my nose again, which shot me back to reality.

Muzan Kibutsuji.

I glanced at Mr. Uzui, he obviously hadn't caught on to the fact the Demon King was among us.

"He must be very skilled at hiding his presence if Mr. Uzui hasn't even noticed..." I muttered quietly to myself.

I decided I wouldn't let Mr. Uzui know. I wouldn't ruin whatever Kyoka was doing.

The smile on her face was as sweet as I remembered it. And it hit me just how much I missed her.

Why was she happy with the Demon King of all people?

I watched as she leaned her head against his arm and squeezed his hand. He placed a kiss on top of her head, and she looked up at him with that sweet smile of hers.

Did she know what she was doing? Was she under his control somehow?

I clenched my fist in anger. How could he do something like this to her? Was he truly this heartless?

Kyoka POV

I sat down, watching Muzan walk away.

I was aware that demons were among us. The Entertainment District was a densely populated area and a popular feeding ground for demons.

"If Muzan is leaving for a time...then I suppose an Upper Moon is here..." I sighed to myself.

I ran a hand over my swollen stomach, leaning against the wall, and closing my eyes.

Tanjiro POV

"Kyoka...?" I breathed. Not believing the sight before my eyes.

Her eyes fluttered open as she sat up to look at me.

"Kyoka what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm waiting...for someone..." She hesitated for a brief moment.

"And what happened?" I glanced at her stomach.

"Oh..." Her hands immediately went to her stomach in a protective motion.

"Never mind. You're coming back with me though." I took her hand in mine though she made no move to get up.

"Kyoka let's go." I tugged on her arm slightly.

"No. I'm staying here." She spoke firmly.

"Ok. Why?" I looked at her calmly.

"I told you. I'm waiting for someone." She told me her reason for staying again.

"Well, c'mon, Mio's worried about you, and Kazuki- "He's dead. I know. He died right in front of me." She cut me off.

"He- he what!?" I stared at her in shock.

"Stabbed right in the heart by an Upper Moon." She spoke so nonchalantly about this.

"This is taking too long Gonpachiro." Inosuke hit the vital point in her neck, rendering her unconscious.

"Inosuke!" I half whispered half yelled as I reached out to grab her as she slumped forward. "You can't just do that! Look how pregnant she is!" I scolded Inosuke as he shrugged and scratched his ear.

"Whatever let's just get her out of here..." I muttered and began carrying her back to Mr. Uzui and Zenitsu so we could get her back to the Butterfly Mansion.

Muzan POV

A jolt of unease surged the moment I stepped away from Daki. It wasn't like Kyoka to wander far without notifying me. I allowed my senses to spread across the district, searching for that familiar heartbeat—the steady rhythm I'd grown attuned to, nestled within her. But as I extended my awareness, something more alarming struck me: Kyoka's presence was fading, moving away from where I'd left her.

Fury licked at my insides. My fingers curled into fists as a dozen scenarios tore through my mind. Was she taken? Was she trying to escape? Either way, there would be hell to pay for those who dared meddle.

Quickly, I retraced my steps, every nerve screaming with impatience. I would retrieve her, no matter the cost.
