CHAPTER FOURTEEN

ABDULLAHI's P.O.V

Sauntering out of the airport building I hurriedly sprint down the pavement as I look down at my wrist  watch, I remove my phone and tried turning it on but it's hopeless making me to sigh as I stuff it back into my pocket, I spot shagari and he wave at me and I walk towards him.

"Hey dude."he says and we exchange the usual brotherly hug.

"How is she doing?"I ask and he shrugged.

"Good,
She's was discharged this morning,
It's gonna take a while for you two to settle I guess."he says and I nod.

Everything happened like so fast previously,
From meeting I find myself booking the next flight to north and from there to Singapore it was urgent but necessary, I did tried reaching out to munirah but she doesn't answer my call I was worried when shagari told me she was sick 2 weeks ago and it just recently get worst 3 days ago and she was admitted in the hospital in general and short the last I saw either of my wives it's 3 weeks 4days, I only sent shagari to Aisha place when I was in the north and he got me some papers which he send to me,
It was insanely work work and work.

"Where should I take you to?"shagari ask and I sigh plugging my phone to charge.

"To Ninii's place.
What exactly is wrong with her?"I ask exhausted and grab the case of water in the car.

"I'm not sure,
But we took her sample again though,
But she's okay now
Just consistent flu and other symptoms."he says releasing a heavy breath.

"How was the trip?"he ask and I nod.
"Have you been in contact with Aisha?"he ask again and I give him a questionable look.

"Yeah."I reply just in time my phone start ringing and it's her, I grab it and answer it.

"Hello."I say and it was my sister, she tells me Aisha is in labor and they are at the hospital.

"Ohhh,
Since when?
We talked this morning before my flight?"I say removing it from the charge.

"Okay,
We will be there,
Bye."I say and hung up quickly plugging the phone back.

"Hudah said Aisha is in labor they are at your work place so we should just go there."I say grabbing my phone and dialing Munirah's contact.

"You should go see munirah first."Shagari says and I glance at him to see if he was ready to pull one of his jokes but he looks serious, the call end and munirah didn't pick making me to sigh and drop it.

"Aisha is in labor I need to be there?"I say but it's more like a question.

"She will probably put to birth before we reach,
Munirah has been seriously sick Abdul,
Even though you called and she didn't answer or refused to speak to you or whatsoever you still need to go check on her."he says and I release a heavy breathe, my phone starts ringing again and it's Aisha name I quickly grab it.

"Hello."I say as I listen attentively to her.

"Ohhh okay,
Mummy can sign anything or anyone,
Just do the necessity I'm on my way to."I say and hung up.
