The next morning came swift, Maya and Carina had gotten up a few times to peak in on Nora to see if she was ok and if she needed anything. Each and every time they peaked in Nora was happily sound asleep, warming the wives hearts.
Jasmine had told Maya and Carina that when Nora woke up she was usually thirsty so when that little buzzer went off signalling Nora was awake, Maya went into the kitchen to get a glass of water before they went into her room.
"Buongiorno bella" Carina said opening the door
Maya handed the little girl the glass of water which she gracefully accepted.
"Did you sleep well?" Maya asked, Nora giving a thumbs up
"Would you like some breakfast?" Carina asked warning a nod from Nora. Carina then held out her two hands to give Nora some options "would you like oatmeal or would you like French toast?"
Without any hesitation Nora chose French toast which made Maya very happy because she loved Carina's French toast. The three of them went into the kitchen and Nora helped Carina make the French toast.
They all sat at the table and enjoyed their food before they packed up and all got ready for the day. Nora got into her white T-shirt and light blue denim shorts and then she combed out her hair making her soft curls turn to frizz.
"Mamma mia Nora!" Carina laughed "you look like a lion!"
Nora giggled and pointed at the plait that Carina had in her hair.
"You want hair like Carina's?" Maya asked Nora nodding
Carina grabbed some spray water and a hairbrush and Nora sat in front of Carina. When Carina started spraying the girls hair to reduce the frizz Nora squirmed and shuffled away. Carina realised that it probably wasn't a very comfortable feeling for Nora.
"Ok sorry that's ok we don't need the spray, I'll put some of the water on my hands instead" Carina said as Nora got back in front of her.
Carina finished doing Nora's hair into a plait just like hers, the entire time Nora had her hands over her ears. The feeling of someone touching her hair was overwhelming her senses but it was wanted, so by covering her ears she dulled any sounds to self regulate.
"Ecco qua" Carina said as Nora stood up
She ran to find the mirror and admired her hair and did a little spin, Maya filming the whole thing.
After a few hours of laughing and colouring there was a knock at the door.
"Hey come on in" Maya said as Jasmine walked in
"Thanks guys hi Nora! Did you have a nice time?" Jasmine asked
Nora nodded her head and made no attempt to move from Carina's lap
"Was everything ok?" Jasmine asked
"Sì we all had a very nice time!" Carina said tickling Nora who burst into a fit of giggles
"Perfect, right well we best be off, Nora can you get your stuff and we will go?" Jasmine asked
Nora paused for a minute she then slowly stood up and grabbed Carina's hand and dragged her to the bedroom. When she got her stuff she dragged Carina back into the lounge where Maya and Jasmine were and let go of her hand. She gave Maya a big hug goodbye and then Carina and she and Jasmine walked out the door.
"I'd say that went well" Maya said as the door closed
"Sì!" Carina said jumping around
"I love that little girl" Maya said bringing her wife close
