Nora came out of school with a smile on her face, it relieved some of Carina's nerves that Nora wouldn't like school.

"Hi bellina, did you have a good day?" Carina said crouching down as Nora gave her a tight hug

"She did really really well" Mrs Brown said "we met some of the other kids and we had lunch together and we did some arts and crafts and lots of other things"

"Did you enjoy it?" Carina asked Nora

Nora nodded. "Right shall we go get the train?" Carina asked Nora nodding. "Perfetto, thank you so much"

"No problem I'll see you tomorrow" Mrs Brown said walking back into the building.

Carina and Nora walked back to the train station and got on the train towards theirs.

"I am so proud of you Nora" Carina said, Nora smiling

"Do you want to go home or do you want to go to the station to go see Mummy?" Carina asked with her hands out like she does when she usually gives Nora an option.

Nora picked the station and off they went. They got off the train at the stop they'd get off to go home but turned right instead of left to go and see Maya.

Nora had been to the station a few times with Carina since the incident, Carina wasn't too sure about leaving Nora there alone.

"Well hello my lovely ladies!" Maya shouted as Carina and Nora walked in

Maya crouched down and held her arms out as Nora ran into them giving Maya a hug. Maya then got up to give Carina a kiss.

"How was work?" Maya asked

"Still working, I've got research to go through but I don't need to be at the hospital" Carina said

"And how was your first day at school miss!" Maya asked the little girl

Nora smiled and held her thumb up. "Shall we go find Andy?" Asked

"Hello pumpkin!!" Andy said greeting the little girl "we're making cookies do you want to help?" Nora nodded.

She gave her bag and iPad to Carina who put them in Maya's office, and then scurried off with Andy to join Vic and Travis in the kitchen in making cookies.

"She seems really happy" Maya said Carina nodding "did the teacher say anything?"

"She said Nora did really well and that they did lots of activities" Carina said "we will have to get her to tell us about it later on"

"That would be lovely" Maya said

While Nora was with Andy and the others, Maya and Carina did some work in the office. They trusted Nora with Andy, Vic, and Travis knowing how good they were with her and that she was safe with them.

After they finished up some work the pair went up to the kitchen to watch Nora with the others. She was busy and focused rolling the cooking dough into little balls and putting them onto the baking sheet.

"She looks so happy" Carina said watching her little girl

"She does" Maya said "we miss having her here"

"Sì I just" carina started

"I know I know, last time was scary" Maya said

"It's not that I don't trust you guys it's just, it could have gone so wrong" Carina said

"I know" Maya said "and now she goes to school"

"She does" Carina said

Maya paused for a second "what if on the weekends if me Andy Vic or Trav are on desk duty and you're on shift she comes?"
