This chapter will be filled with small moments between SAAD and SEHR which are beautiful and worthy to fall for them more.

The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a soft golden glow across the garden where Saad sat, quietly flipping through a book. The peaceful evening had a certain magic to it, the kind of magic that made everything seem possible. His thoughts, however, weren't on the words on the page but on the woman who had slipped into his life so unexpectedly.

Sehr was humming softly, her figure bathed in the late sunlight as she watered the small plants near the veranda. Saad couldn't help but steal glances at her, his heart beating a little faster every time their eyes met, even briefly.

He didn't know how long this could last—this quiet, unspoken affection that seemed to flow between them. Every look, every smile held something more, something deeper. But neither of them said it aloud.

SEHR
(Smiling)
You really love these old books, don't you? I've never seen someone so lost in reading like you.

SAAD
(Chuckling)
Well, it's either this or get lost in my thoughts. Trust me, the book's better.

Their eyes met again, and Sehr's smile softened. She walked over, sitting down on the edge of the bench, close but not too close, her presence radiating a warmth that Saad had come to crave. The silence between them wasn't awkward. It was peaceful like they didn't need words to fill the space.

SEHR
(Teasing)
I wonder what you'd be like without a book. Maybe you'd talk more.

Saad laughed, his gaze shifting to the book in his hands, but his thoughts were still on her. He wanted to say something clever, but his heart was too distracted by the way she looked when she smiled like that—like everything was lighter, easier.

SAAD
(Smiling)
Maybe you just haven't seen me talk when I have something important to say.

SEHR
(Laughing)
Is that a challenge?

SAAD
(Playfully)
Maybe.

She laughed again, and Saad felt that familiar warmth flood his chest. It was so effortless, being with her. There was no need for pretence, no need to hide behind walls of emotion like he used to. But still, the words he wanted to say remained trapped inside him.

The evening stretched on, and as they sat together, the world seemed to slow down, cocooning them in a moment that felt fragile yet perfect.

Later that week, Sehr had been cooking in the kitchen when Saad wandered in, searching for some tea. The sight of her moving around the small space made something in his chest tighten. She looked so at home here. So natural.

SEHR
(Casually)
I made some chai. Want some?

He nodded, leaning against the counter, watching her pour the steaming tea into two mugs. As she handed him one, their fingers brushed, and a shock of electricity ran through him. He wasn't sure if she felt it too, but her eyes flicked up to meet his for just a second, a moment that felt longer than it should.

SAAD
(Softly)
Thanks.

Their fingers lingered a little longer than necessary before she pulled away, her cheeks flushing slightly. Saad tried to mask his reaction, but he couldn't help but wonder if she was feeling the same thing he was. That undercurrent of something more, something neither of them could put into words.
