I woke up dazed. My head was spinning.

Then I saw her.

Her hair, a mix of bright purple and blue, flowing around, eyes deep blue, shining like stars. Looking into them felt like falling into space. She was beautiful, like someone from another world.

We looked at each other, and everything around me stopped existing. She felt unreal, like a secret the universe was hiding for himself. I didn't know if it was a dream or not, but if it was, I certainly did not want to wake up.

Suddenly, I realized that I was sitting at a table. She was across from me, smiling.

I looked around. We were in a garden. It wasn't a normal garden. Planets floated in the air, like they'd grown from the ground. Some were small and glowed softly, and others were huge with swirling clouds. Moons circled them, giving off a soft light.

It was like a dream that couldn't be real. Everything was strange but perfect. I was fascinated by the planets, the air buzzing with energy, and especially by the woman across from me, her eyes like galaxies.

She tilted her head, a playful look in her eyes. "Are you done looking?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle.

She seemed amused by my staring. I blinked. I had been staring a long time.

"Uh...yeah," I mumbled, even though it wasn't true. How could I stop looking at this?

She leaned forward, smiling. "Good. We need to talk, and I don't want to wait for you to get over the cosmic sights."

I felt embarrassed. "Uh...where am I?" I asked.

She smiled. "You're dead."

I wasn't surprised. It felt like I already knew. But that wasn't what I wanted to know. I looked at the planets.

"Yeah, okay...But where am I really?" I asked. If this was the afterlife, it was strange.

Her smile widened. "You're in my 'domain'," she said. "The domain of the God of the Multiverse."

She said it like it was nothing special.

My head spun. "What?!" I said. "What am I doing here?!"

She leaned closer. "I need your help."

Wait. How did I get here? You're probably asking that, and if you're not, then you should be because talking to a goddess in a garden of floating planets isn't normal.

To understand this, we have to go back.

Three days earlier...
